Coping style refers to the individual's assessment of the stress environment or event after cognitive assessment,to balance their mental state to take measures,or individuals in the face of stressful events and the environment,the adjustment of cognitive,emotional and environmental efforts.School adaptation is the ability to succeed by adapting itself to the school's norms,participating in school life,teacher-student relationship and peer relationships,and academic achievement by adjusting one's own mental and behavioral patterns.Both coping style and psychological adaptation are the dynamic process of psychological development.Coping styles not only affect the development of psychological adaptation,but also their own development is affected to a certain extent by psychological adaptation.This study first investigates and analyzes the current situation and coping style of coping styles and adaptability of fourth and fifth grade students in Xinjian County through gender and other aspects.According to the results of the investigation,48 poorly adapted students were screened and divided into experimental group and control group,and group members of experimental group were intervened without any intervention in control group.After training,based on measurement results,members diary analysis,interviews and other means to assess the impact of intervention and analysis.Research indicates:There were significant differences in the coping styles and adaptability of students in grade four and grade five except for singletons,gender,etc.There was a significant positive correlation between social ability and problem solving and seeking help.There was a significant negative correlation between behavior problems and problem solving The coping style that has the greatest influence on social ability is problem solving.After group intervention,there were significant differences between before and after seeking help,avoiding attacks,interpersonal skills,academic skills and social competence.This shows that group intervention has a role in coping style and adaptability of students.
