Bullying on campus refers to the behavior that one party intentionally or maliciously causes physical injury,property loss or mental injury to the other party on or off campus or among students.The high incidence of bullying in schools in recent years will not only have a negative impact on the physical and mental health,academic and personality development of young people,but also pose a great threat to the safety of schools and students.The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between family function and school bullying behavior of junior high school students,and to reveal the mediating role of coping style between family function and school bullying behavior,on this basis,group counseling is carried out to improve the coping style of junior high school students,buffer the negative effects of family function,and reduce the incidence of bullying behavior.This study can provide theoretical guidance and practical reference for educators to help junior high school students acquire correct attitudes and good coping skills to deal with family problems.The research mainly includes two parts: the first part is the research on the relationship between family function,coping style and school bullying behavior of junior middle school students,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 1014 junior high school students from four schools in Hefei,Maanshan and Fuyang to explore the influence of family function and coping style on junior high school students bullying behavior.In the second study,24 middle school students were selected as the subjects,including 12 in the experimental group and 12 in the control group.The experimental group was given group counseling on coping style based on rational emotive therapy and social learning theory,while the control group didn't do any intervention,to examine the effectiveness of group counseling in improving school bullying behavior of junior high school students.The conclusions are as follows:(1)there are significant differences in gender and grade of junior high school students' bullying behavior,and there are significant differences in junior high school students' language bullying behavior.(2)there is a significant negative correlation between family function and school bullying behavior,and family function negatively predicts school bullying behavior of junior high school students.(3)coping style plays a part of mediating role between family function and bullying behavior.(4)after group counseling,there were significant differences in coping style and bullying behavior between pre-test and post-test in the experimental group,but no significant differences between the control group and post-test.Group counseling with improving coping style as its main content can effectively reduce bullying behavior of junior high school students.
