A Study On The Current Situation Of Social Work Practice In Xinjiang Universities And Its Influencing Factors

In the late 1980 s,China gradually restored the professional education of social work,and since then,the education of social work has been developed to a certain extent.However,there are many problems in the development,one of which is the failure to form a systematic,theoretical social work practice system,the practice effect is not ideal.In 2002,Xinjiang University first set up social work undergraduate specialty in Xinjiang,then other universities in Xinjiang also set up social work specialty one after another,Xinjiang social work specialty education has been developed step by step.At the same time,it promotes the development of social work practice education in Xinjiang colleges and universities.As a professional practical means,social work practice has trained a certain number of social work professionals for the development of Xinjiang,and promoted the further development of social work in Xinjiang.This paper analyzes the present situation and existing problems of social work practice in colleges and universities in Xinjiang through a questionnaire survey.The factors influencing the practice of social work major in Xinjiang colleges and universities are discussed from the view of the theory of demand level,the theory of identity and the idea of preventing the brain drain.This paper attempts to explore the concrete measures to improve the practice of social work in colleges and universities in Xinjiang in order to promote the development of specialization and professionalization of social work practice education in Xinjiang colleges and universities.In the study,we found that there are many factors that affect the practice of social work major in Xinjiang universities,including imperfect practice system,lack of professional practice base,lack of professional supervision,low degree of social identity.The comprehensive quality of students needs to be improved.These factors have a negative impact on the practice of students,resulting in students' practice experience is not ideal,professional ability can not be better played.At the same time,based on these influencing factors,this paper also puts forward the countermeasuresand suggestions for improving the practice of social work major in Xinjiang universities: while improving their comprehensive quality,the intern students should pay attention to the combination of theory and practice,and constantly improve their specialty.sense of identity and sense of belonging;The school should continuously improve the practice system,and provide the necessary practical training and practical guidance for interns;The practice units should be people-oriented,pay attention to the realization of the self-ability of interns,and create a good practice environment for interns;Society should provide necessary policy advocacy,increase publicity and promotion,and provide various support for the development of social work practice education.
