Social work practice is a designed and supervisory process which is schools organize students to institutions or community to accept social work practice skills and values training. Social work practice is an important part of the social work education, the status which is critical for the training of social work professional as well as for the cultivation of social work professional service system in Mainland China. In view of the social work practice' basic characteristics is learning and involves the roles widely distributed, the study hold the social learning theory as the main centers of resistance, and hold the social role theory to distinguish the important influencing factors, which analyses longitudinally to the psychological and behavioral performance of the students during prophase, metaphase and anaphase of the social work practice, focuses on the internal and external factors which impacted the students' social work practice, provides suggestions on how to improve social work practice in the end, through the sample survey to the high-grade university students who study social work major in Wuhan.The full text is divided into six main parts:The first part is the introduction, which is mainly on the background of the study question, summarizes on the contain, history, field, arrangement, objects, models and other basic common sense of the social work practice, Focuses on the social work practice environment and education status about the United Kingdom, the United States and other countries. For the mainland of China, scholars have on the status of social work practice research, also based on one aspect from practical students, schools, practical institutions, practical supervisors to carry out specific description of the status quo.The second part is the study design, which introduces the study purpose and significance, theoretical basis, research assumptions, analytical framework, research methods and research innovations.The third part is the study sample, which describes the investigation region, the choice and basic features of the samples.The fourth part is the description of the status quo, which mainly explores from the cognitive, the selection of training institutions, the methods performance, effect of the social work practice about the university students who study social work major. Although the students have a good performance on the social work practice cognitive and attitude, also their practical methods are diversity. But, due to the domestic environment, with the exception of a small number of students, most of the internship is not an effective or skilled in the use of social work theories, values and skills. The fifth part is the influencing factors analysis, which analyses the influencing factors of the university students social work practice behavior and effects, relates to thebehavior and cognitive which is the university students individual factors------gender,grade, location, the degree who likes the social work profession, relates to the environmental factors which are system and financial support from schools, internships performance and effectiveness of the practical supervisors, professional level and admission and assess to the students of practical intuitions, number and performance of clients, college entrance examination system, social identity, social resources, social needs, and other social factors. Individual behavior and cognitive and the environment factors dominates the status of social work practice education under the present Mainland China.The sixth part is the conclusion and discussion of the study, which provides a high degree overview the fourth part and the fifth part of the study, According to the influencing factors analysis, puts forward Countermeasures and suggestions from the practice of operations, systems and so on.
