The teaching characteristics are the characteristic of teachers in terms of teaching behavior and teaching ability,which consists of four aspects: teaching behavior,thinking,affection and knowledge schema.With the continuous change of high school biology curriculum,the personal teaching qualities of biological teachers are particularly important.The teaching qualities of teachers can improve teachers’ own development on the one hand,and can promote the students’ learning and growth on the other hand,and eventually to achieve mutual benefit and win-win for teachers and students.First of all,the study focused on 4 high schools,namely,Guiyang No.2 Middle School,Weining County Experiment No.3 Middle School in Bijie City,Wanshan District No.8 Middle School in Tongren City,and No.1 Middle School in Liuzhi District,Liupanshui City.Questionnaire survey was used to understand the teaching methods,methods,teaching languages and teaching idea by these teachers in biology teaching;Secondly,it puts forward the teaching qualities that teachers should have through the study and analysis of the teaching qualities of teachers;Finally,these teaching qualities are applied to classroom teaching through case teaching,and the effects and effects of different teaching traits are compared.Through the analysis of the teacher’s language characteristics and teaching strategies,the results showed that:(1)The language logic was the most basic and important in the classroom teaching of biology.The logic and emotion of language were inseparable.The combination of the both could improve students’ academic performance.(2)In the classroom teaching strategy,through graphically analyzing the teaching important and difficulty points in the content of biology lectures,it was helpful for students to remember the important and difficulty points;By means of the use of the teaching aids analogy knowledge,students could understand and master important and difficult points,and multimedia played a significant role in improving classroom efficiency.(3)Corresponding suggestions were proposed for the teaching characteristics of high school biology teachers.
