Research On The Application Of Social Work In The Stress Of Family Caregivers Of Children With Autism

This study interviewed 13 family carers in the Autism Rehabilitation Training Institution in Guiyang Homeland.Through interviews and observations,family caregivers were found to be under pressure from physical,psychological,economic,family,and social issues.This article used the two working methods of case and group under the concept of social work to groom the pressure of family caregivers for children with autism.In case involvement,the researchers provided emotional support for the case and used the theory and techniques of rational emotional therapy to correct the irrational beliefs of the owner and encourage the case to make positive behaviors to change negative emotions and release their own pressure.In the group,family caregivers with similar conditions were recruited as team members.A total of six group activities were conducted to enhance the members' social support network.This will help increase the team members' ability to resist pressure,broaden their ways of coping with stress,and increase self-perception.A combination of process assessments and results assessments assesses the effectiveness of interventions and validates the practical effects of social work in grooming the pressure of family caregivers on children with autism.The article suggests some reflections on the theory.A comparison was made between the case and the method of work of the group.In order to provide reference experience for future practical operations.
