Reading is a basic activity that human beings are as important as breathing.Reading is the driving force of the nation's progress,the thrust of building a great nation of civilization,and an indispensable factor for nourishing the soul and unleashing ideological vitality.People's spiritual development history is related to their reading history.The reading level of a nation determines a nation's spiritual realm to a large extent.Reading is very important to both individuals and nations.China attaches great importance to reading.At the Fifth Plenary Session of the 18 th Central Committee,"advocating reading for the whole people" and "promoting the significant improvement of National quality and social civilization" were listed as important tasks during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period.With the development of information technology,human society has entered the information age,and the way of people's reading has changed.Thanks to the improvement of people's living standard,the rapid development of new media such as micro-blog WeChat and mobile client,fragmented reading has become a new way of reading which is impacting traditional reading.This kind of shallow reading is the product of social development,a certain extent,it adapts to the needs of modern society.At present,people are in a fast paced era.The social background with a thick volume of books is slowly fading down,and fragmented reading is adapted to the needs of modern people to some extent.What we emphasize is reading,and the way it should be flexible.From this point of view,fragmented reading is not a bad thing.But because this is a new way of reading,more populare to the college students whom value are not yet maturer.The double-sided influence of fragmented reading on College Students' values and the status of college students as a nation's hope and the future of the motherland decide that college students' fragmented reading behavior can not be ignored.It's not only a theoretical issue,but also a practical topic,how to enable college students to gain advantages and avoid disadvantages in fragmented reading and keep correct value orientation,then constantly improve their values.This paper studies the impact of the fragmented reading of college students on their values by using the method of literature research and questionnaire.The innovation points are as follows: First,the research perspective is novel.Taking fragmented reading as the basis of research,this paper explores college students' values education from a relatively new perspective.Combining with the characteristics of the current era and fragmentation reading of university students at present,fragmentation reading on the impact of college students' values,according to the analysis of the causes and puts forward some countermeasures targeted the disadvantages.Second,the research content has been innovative.In addition to adopting the research model of "influence--countermeasure",this paper also explores the function of value education of fragmentation reading according to the similarities between fragmented reading and value education.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,The text is divided into five parts:The first part,including the theory of Marx's epistemology and Marx's theory of human demand,and the theory of Maslow's "human demand" abroad and Rosengren's "use and satisfy" theory.The second part,t Definition of relevant concepts,including related overview of fragmentation reading and related overview of values,the relationship between fragmentation reading and values,and fragmentation reading from education perspective.The third part,Analyze the actual situation of College Students' fragmentation reading with the data of the survey,and the impact of fragmentation reading as a cognitive activity on College Students' values.The fourth part is the analysis of the reasons for the impact of fragmented reading on College Students' values,the psychological mechanism of the formation of values and the reasons for the positive and negative effects.The fifth part is about the Countermeasures of fragmented reading for college students.It puts forward the resultant force of the government and society,the media's self discipline,the strengthening of core values education and the improvement of media literacy of college students.
