| In recent years,with the improvement of Chinese economy,the rapid development of science and technology also people’s strong demand for new sports,all kinds of new sports have started to rise in our country.In addition,a dense and unique sports atmosphere has been formed in certain regions.The WutiBall was officially faced public in Shenzhen which is the first special economic zone of China on April 29,2015.WutiBall,which can make our limbs and body keep flexible,training our ability to think and respond quickly during the transformational process of manipulation and footwork and deliver health and happiness,has been well received by all classes and ages since it appeared.Furthermore,WutiBall have passed multi-purpose motion framework patents,motion rules copyright and multiple graphic and text trademarks certification,and has complete intellectual property system.Therefore,it has the research value of theory and practice.Part of ordinary colleges and universities in Guangdong province have been contacted to WutiBall since 2016,and have participated in the college invitational competition held by WutiBall company.With the promotion of the competition,the activity is gradually becoming prevalent in colleges of Guangdong.And the number of participating teams was developed from 8 to 16 in the second competition which was intense and attracted more students to watch and participate in this exercise.Consequently,in order to popularize WutiBall in colleges and universities,this article explores the current situation of the 16 participating teams in the Third Guangdong WutiBall College League which is going to provide a beneficial reference for the development of WutiBall teams in colleges.In this article,the 16 participating teams are selected as the objects of the research,and the problems exist in their current situation and development are investigated and analyzed by the means of literature,interview,questionnaire and mathematical statistics.And arrive at the following conclusions:(1)In the 16 WutiBall teams of ordinary colleges in Guangdong province,the teams of South China Normal University and Guangzhou Sport University have good development status,while the school leaders of Beijing Normal University,Zhuhai and Guangdong Polytechnic College are very supportive and concern about the current situation and activities of their WutiBall teams.And the WutiBall will make progress constantly with the high attention of school leaders.(2)The age structure and profession of WutiBall athletes who have clear participation purpose distribute reasonably and widely.But it is adverse to further development of the teams due to the generally limit level of athletes and the prominent contradiction between learning and training.(3)The age structure of the coaches distributes reasonably,but the educational level is insufficient,the academic titles are low also the sport experience is not rich,the level of the sport is relatively low and the research capability is at a general level.(4)The teams are lack of training time,games and actual combat experience.And it is adverse to the improvement.(5)The logistic support of the teams is inadequate,and the WutiBall stadiums and foundations can barely satisfy the competition training of the teams.The following countermeasures are put forward for current development condition of WutiBall teams in Guangdong province:(1)Improve the importance from leadership of WutiBall teams.(2)Increase the training frequency and duration.Meanwhile,increase the level of professional skill to attract more participants who are at higher level.(1)Improve the coaches’ research capability and teaching level,and perfect the reward mechanism.In addition,the teams should hire full-time staff instead of part-time staff gradually.(2)Perfect the competition mechanism,and increase the frequency and teams of the competition. |
