In recent years,with the promotion and implementation of the education curriculum reform in our country,school-based curriculum developed and utilized on the basis of the nature,characteristics and conditions of the school has become a hotspot of reform as well as attracted extensive attention.As a traditional sport event,fancy rope skipping has characters of various forms,rich contents,enjoyable for appreciation and interesting,is popular with teachers and students and of great value in promotion and implementation on campus.As a school-based physical education curriculum,contents of fancy rope skipping curriculum could be set for students of different levels,it satisfies the physical and mental development features of school students with both content setting and sports effect,is an advantageous event of school-based physical education curriculum development.Methods of documentary,field study,questionnaire,case study and logical analysis have been adopted in this research,and based on the national course standard of physical education and health,in combination of the local features of Gushi County and physical education resources of the No.1 Primary School,this research takes fancy rope skipping as the school-based curriculum for development practice,the development background,foundation,teaching objectives,teaching contents,assessment scheme,practice effect have been systematically illustrated,in the meantime,following opinions and suggestions have been put forward for the existing problems during development and practice as well as their countermeasures:(1)the development process of school skipping school-based curriculum has been initially formed;(2)principals,teachers and sports environment influence the development of school skipping school-based curriculum;(3)physical education teachers lack the ability to develop school-based curriculum;(4)the evaluation criteria of school-based curriculum need to be strengthened.Following opinions and suggestions have been put forward for the existing problems during development and practice as well as their countermeasures :(1)To introduce professional talents to improve the teachers ' teaching level;(2)To pay close attention to the characteristics of students' physical and mental development,and carry out teaching reflection;(3)To establish a complete school-based rope skipping curriculum evaluation system;(4)To invest appropriate funds to improve the teaching environment of the school;(5)To complete the development of school-based curriculum on the basis of school-based rope skipping curriculum development.
