Since the 21 st century,the world political and economic situation is changing rapidly.Each country must face a complex set of problems which arising from the rapid development of society.And solutions of the problem of complexity theory need to transcend the traditional disciplines and methods,as well as the interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary comprehensive knowledge to solve it.In order to meet the demand of China's social development for innovative compound talents under the new economic normal,it has put forward the realistic requirements for higher education training interdisciplinary high-level talents.The interdisciplinary education is an important trend in reform and development of education,which is of great value and significance to promote the development of students and promote the development of science and technology and society.In recent years,the research on theory and practice of interdisciplinary education in China made some achievements.However,the discipline classification system has been dominated by the single discipline view for a long time.And influenced by the rigid discipline of the former Soviet union.There are many deficiencies in the development of interdisciplinary education.For the past few years,the undergraduate teaching reform gradually develops to the interdisciplinary education.In order to develop the undergraduate interdisciplinary education.This paper presents a study on the education mode of undergraduate students in our research universities.The object study is the interdisciplinary education model of Chinese research university undergraduates.In this paper,using literature research method,comparative research and case study method.Based on the theory of taxonomic principle,and summary of previous research experience,the interdisciplinary education mode in our country mainly comes down to three horizontal categories: General knowledge education mode,exploratory education mode and crossover education mode.And four vertically graded: Interdisciplinary course model;interdisciplinary project model;interdisciplinary professional model and interdisciplinary degree model.Through the comparison and analysis of the modes of production,advantages and disadvantages and scope of application.It is suggested that domestic universities should follow the development rule of education.Choosing the interdisciplinary education mode according to it's own situation.The representative cases of China and America are also illustrated.Comparing with the characteristics of the interdisciplinary education process in China and the United States.According to these characteristics,learn from America's advanced experience.Suggestions on improving the education mode of undergraduate students in China are proposed.The results show that there are some problems in interdisciplinary education model of Chinese universities.The interdisciplinary education concept is missing.Education resource sharing needs to be strengthened.The interdisciplinary education degree needs to be deepened and the organizational form needs to be enriched.The interdisciplinary faculty is weak and underfunded.Summing up above,the development of the education model of Chinese undergraduates is proposed: Strengthening education resources sharing in colleges;to promote the development of interdisciplinary courses.Enrich interdisciplinary organization form;and expanding the interdisciplinary education participation object.To deepen the degree of interdisciplinary;the interdisciplinary philosophy should runs through the whole process of personnel training.
