With the constantly development of science and technology,innovation is getting attention from more and more people.Both Compendium of Curriculum Reform of Fundamental Education(trial)and Curriculum Standard of Middle-school Physic(experiment)clearly emphasize that school should cultivate the students' innovation ability and establish multi-assessment system at the same time.Assessments shouldn't only focus on the students' academic achievements,but also discover and develop students' various talents.At present,there are few researches about divergent thinking quantitative evaluation in physics learning.In order to help the physics educators better understand the students' physical divergent thinking ability level,then train students' divergent thinking ability more precisely and effectively,the research will preliminarily discuss the quantitative evaluation of physical divergent thinking.Based on Guilford's theory of divergent processing and problem-solving model,this paper tries to establish PTA scale of middle school students' physical divergent thinking.By analyze and conclude the research of physical divergent thinking ability at home and abroad,and define physical divergent thinking concept,the research conclude the elements of physical divergent thinking from the concept.They are divergent consciousness,ability of viewing and solving problems from multiple perspectives,and ability of presenting thinking results.The primary targets are number of divergent,quality of divergent and presentation of results.It can be further confirmed that the 6 secondary targets of the 3 primary targets are number of divergent,flexibility,elaboration,peculiarity,linguistic simplicity,and expression explicitness.After finishing compiling the evaluation criterion of each target,the writer use Delphi method to confirm the proportion of each target.According to the scholars' behavior on physical divergent thinking at home and abroad,and communicating with the front-line teachers,the writer concludes that the specific expressions of physical divergent thinking are:(1)Physical divergent thinking asks students to break through previous knowledge points and think more based on them when facing specific physical problems.It is perceiving physical materials variously.(1)Perceive the multiple functions of physical materials.Think about the multiple use and multiple functions of physical materials.Overcome the influence of functional fixedness.(2)Perceive the multiple speciality of physical materials.Analyze the physical materials from all sides.Perceive the physical materials' multiple attributes.(3)Perceive the multiple results of physical materials.Imagine the results of tests,and evaluate the students' divergent thinking by how they describe some situation.(4)React variously to the physical materials.It includes new thinking about physical materials,raising new questions,and connecting them in the mind to related physical quantity.(2)We need to speculate and imagine hypothetical tentative thinking polydirectional.Compile High School Physics Divergence Thinking Ability Test and test 215 students in Xinjiang Shihezi No.2 Middle School.After researching,the conclusion is as follows:(1)In general,the students' physical divergent thinking level is low,especially on flexibility and peculiarity.It goes against the development of innovation ability.(2)There is no obvious difference between boys and girls in physical divergent thinking.(3)There is obvious difference among students of different academic level in physical divergent thinking.(4)There is obvious connection between students' academic level and their physical divergent thinking.Analyzing the result,it is advised that the front-line physic teachers should reinforce the training in students' physical divergent thinking.Find the point of divergence in physics learning and combine the physics feature.Consider the concept variant,physical method,physical model and knowledge point as the point of divergence,and make the points to nets to train the students' physical divergent thinking.
