In recent years,New Zealand has increased its emphasis on Chinese language,and more schools have set up Chinese courses.As of 2016,There are 115 schools of South Island has Chinese lessons.As the Chinese teaching,has just started and developed,teachers' awareness of using Chinese classroom expression are not high enough.In the actual teaching situation,the use of classroom language is not standardized.Moreover,for the study of Chinese language,domestic and foreign research are inadequate,especially for overseas primary Chinese teaching.This paper is based on the primary Chinese language teaching of in South Island of New Zealand.This study object are 5 high schools,17 primary schools,including questionnaire survey of 106 students and 40 Chinese teachers,classroom observation and classroom recording of 15 Chinese teachers.Through the Transcribe,calculating the proportion of the English classroom expression and the Chinese classroom expression when teachers teaching Chinese,analyzing the difficulties and finding ways to solve those problems.From the perspective of "how to use Chinese classroom expression",we choose two teachers(whose mother tongue is English and whose mother tongue is Chinese)to participate in a specific case study,so that making up some detials for the previous survey.After the study found that the feature of Chinese classroom expression are weakening of Chinese,diversity and uneven distribution.In the classroom,teachers and students are more likely to use both Chinese and English.In primary Chinese teaching,teachers should improve their own use of Chinese classroom language confidence,more detailed planning of using Chinese.if teachers skillfully use these expression,so that they can create a good atmosphere of Chinese classroom,and improve students' interest in Chinese.It is hoped that through this study,teachers will have a general understanding of use and how to use them,which will attract teachers' attention to this point and provide help for later Chinese teaching.
