Capital comes from the field of economics and is now being gradually extended to other disciplines. In many areas of economics, sociology, psychology, and pedagogy in recent years, capital has been an important research factor. The concept of family capital, social capital, etc.was introduced into the field of higher education. Many scholars' studies have shown that college students' family capital affects their access to higher education, professional choice, academic performance, job selection, and employment intentions. In recent years, the trend of solidifying the stratum in our country has become increasingly prominent.More and more scholars believe that it is more difficult for the middle and lower strata of society to move upward, and this has long been detrimental to the stable and harmonious development of society. With the continuous development of the market economy, with the deepening of the popularization of higher education, the employment situation of college students is severe. The employment situation of agricultural colleges, especially agricultural specialties,is not optimistic.Under the influence of social factors and family factors and other complex factors, the employment intention of agricultural college students is constantly changing and presents certain characteristics. This study first summarizes the domestic and foreign research progress on family capital, employment of college students and the relationship between the two, summarizes the important concepts involved in the study, and determines the research variables.Based on the research at home and abroad, combined with the characteristics of the study to determine the specific measurement of variables and develop a survey questionnaire. In order to study the agricultural capital of college students, five college students of agricultural sciences(including undergraduate colleges and colleges)from different levels of higher agricultural colleges were selected as the research object, and stratified sampling and cluster sampling were combined. An empirical study of the influence of intentions.Secondly, the use of chi-square test and the analysis of differences in the influence of family capital on the employment intention of agricultural graduates. The family capital is further divided into three aspects: family economic capital, family social capital and family cultural capital.Employment intentions are further divided into three aspects: self-employment ability recognition, employment treatment expectation, and employment direction selection.A chi-square test was conducted between each variable of family capital and each variable of employment intention, and the correlation between variables was examined to determine the intuitive effect of family capital on the employment intention of agricultural graduates. Then, the difference analysis was used to further examine the relationship between related variables and explore whether there are significant differences in the employment intentions of agricultural graduates with different family capitals. In the overall analysis,to grasp the factors that affect the employment intention of agricultural students. Finally, the paper analyzes the mediating role of personal capital in the impact of family capital on the employment intention of agricultural college students, and explores the specific household capital variables that indirectly affect the employment intention of agricultural college students through the use of personal capital as an intermediary, and further explores the employment of agricultural capital for agricultural college students. The influential mechanism of intentional influence.Through research,it has been found that all aspects of family capital have a certain impact on agricultural college students, with direct and indirect effects. As a whole, agricultural college students with high family capital have a higher awareness of self-employment ability and a stronger sense of employment self-efficacy.There is also a higher level of expectation for employment and treatment benefits, and lower acceptance for employment in rural areas, employment in agriculture-related occupations, and employment in rural areas. The accumulation of capital by fathers directly and indirectly affects the employment intention of agricultural college students through intergenerational transfer of capital. However, the influence of family capital on the employment intention of agricultural college students is mostly weak, and family capital(preemptive capital)is not completely related to individual capital(post-induced capital). This shows that the role of family capital in the employment of college students has changed over time. The development is constantly weakening.
