IAccreditation of teacher education providers is the guarantee mechanism forimproving teacher training quality.Educator preparation providers Accreditation Standards is fundamental guarantee to assure the quality of educator preparation providers,continuous improvement the evaluating rules of course,teaching,administration and management.The teacher education standard system of American is mature in the world,and it has important research significance.Especially on July 1,2013,The Council for The Accreditation of Educator Preparation(CAEP)was established,and in August the same year,the new CAEP educator preparation providers Accreditation Standards was promulgated.It heralds a "new era of teachers".It is of great significance for us to understand the role of education institutions in guaranteeing teachers education quality and professional training.CAEP accreditation standards set up a unified evaluation template for educator preparation providers of American.The assessment concept on the basis of the performance evaluation,the assessment methods supported by data and technical,and the evaluation process emphasized on the analysis of evidence is the main direction of this article research.On this basis,this research is beginning on analyzing the historical background and theoretical basis of CAEP certification standards.Secondly,it studied the content and characteristics of CAEP certification standard,concentrated on the content,key elements,relationship of CAEP certification standards.It summarized the systematicness and concreteness of the quality improvement,the effectiveness and principles of the evidence culture,the cooperativeness and role of the partnership,and the continuity and innovativeness of the improvement system.Then it is the research of CAEP standard certification and the implementation status and effectiveness.It analyzed the authentication of education institution of American colleges and universities these years,and built a structured dimension and elements.Finally,it is the enlightenment of CAEP certification standard for China.based on the practical problems,international comparison,such as integrated elements,draw lessons from the CAEP certification standard construction path,the paper puts forward some suggestions on the assurance of teachereducation quality and construction of teacher education certification standard system.
