In recent years,with the popularity of tennis in the world,tennis in China has also developed rapidly.Tennis has gradually become a popular sport among college students.In order to meet the growing demand of college students for tennis,some domestic colleges and universities have set up compulsory and optional courses of tennis,and have paid more attention to the construction of tennis hardware facilities,teachers,tennis clubs and tennis competitions,so as to provide high-quality tennis courses for students.However,for tennis,although there are important reasons for the "North-South differences" such as climate differences,there are also many common problems: first,the tennis facilities are not perfect;second,the number of tennis equipment and venues is insufficient;third,the utilization rate of tennis venues is low;fourth,the development of tennis in the region is not balanced,and so on.To some extent,it restricts the improvement of the overall development level of tennis in Colleges and universities in China.Aiming at the above problems,taking the typical tennis courses offered in Colleges and universities in Changchun and Wuhan as the research object,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the tennis courses offered in Colleges and universities in the two places by using the methods of literature,questionnaire,expert interview,mathematical statistics and logical analysis,in order to find out the main differences and explore the differences between the two places.The reasons for the differences and the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to provide theoretical and practical basis for the overall development of tennis in Colleges and universities in both places.Through investigation and analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:1.From the perspective of College Students' understanding of tennis courses,students in Wuhan area are generally more satisfied with tennis courses than those in Changchun area.Students' spending on tennis projects is basically the same.Students in Wuhan area are more active in tennis than those in Changchun universities.Students in Changchun area choose tennis courses more for the purpose of obtaining credits,while students in Wuhan area choose tennis courses more for the purpose of obtaining credits.Itis more for the purpose of interest and physical fitness.2.Looking from the situation of tennis curriculum in Colleges and universities,there is little difference between the two universities in terms of course type and teaching hours,while the total semester number of tennis courses in Universities in Wuhan is higher than that in Changchun.3.From the current teaching situation of tennis courses in Colleges and universities,there is little difference between the technical actions taught by tennis teachers in Wuhan and Changchun.The teaching methods of tennis teachers in Wuhan are more flexible and diverse,and the teaching objectives are more clear.In terms of teaching evaluation methods,the evaluation of tennis courses in Colleges and universities in Changchun area pays more attention to technical evaluation,while that in Wuhan area pays more attention to students' practical skills.4.In terms of the teaching staff of tennis teachers in Colleges and universities,Wuhan is slightly better than Changchun in terms of their academic qualifications and professional titles.Among them,the proportion of tennis teachers with doctoral degrees and professional titles is higher than Changchun.The proportion of tennis teachers with professional background in Wuhan and Changchun is basically the same in each period of their teaching life,and the ratio of tennis teachers with professional background in Wuhan is area is higher than that in Changchun.The referee rank of tennis teachers in Wuhan is higher than that in Changchun.5.In terms of the "soft environment" of tennis courses in Colleges and universities,the proportion of tennis clubs and tennis school teams in Wuhan is higher than that in Changchun,and schools in Wuhan pay more attention to the support of tennis clubs and the training of tennis school teams.6.In terms of the "hard environment" of tennis courses in Colleges and universities,the average number of tennis courts in Colleges and universities in Wuhan is about twice that of colleges and universities in Changchun,and the number of tennis equipment provided by colleges and universities in Wuhan is also more than that in Changchun.Similarly,the number of tennis wall,an important auxiliary means of tennis practice,is much more than that in Changchun.
