Research On The Self-education Function Of College Student Associations

Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core has paid high attention to the cultivation of the self-education ability of the whole party and the people of the whole country,guided people to enhance their awareness of self-education,enhance their self-management ability,and jointly create a good social and cultural atmosphere.At present,under the impact of many material temptations and some decadent thoughts,due to the lack of abilities of self-education and self-management,many college students begin to drift with the tide and lose themselves,deviating from the socialist core values and the moral tradition of the Chinese.This phenomenon has a serious impact on the future of college students.With the help of college student associations,the study on the self-education function of college student associations is of great theoretical and practical significance in cultivating college students' self-education ability,setting up correct values and innovating new ways for ideological and political education.This article used the literature research,case analysis and interdisciplinary study,from the papers of classical Marxist writers,the Chinese excellent traditional culture and theoretical research by foreign scholars to carry out the theoretical analysis of self-education of university student,and provided the necessary theoretical support for the research of self-education function of college student associations.This paper briefly describes the connotation of associations college students self-education function,defines the core concept of this study,discusses the value orientation of college students' self-education associations function from four aspects of the moral cultivation,the ideal faith,life value,and the comprehensive ability training.And further discusses the realization method of the function of self-education associations,helps to promote the combination of college associations and self-education.The practical development of self-education in college student associations has achieved some results with remarkable highlights.However,there have been some problems in practice,mainly in the aspects of insufficient understanding of self-education,the deviation of values,the lack of attraction and innovation of activities,and bureaucratic problems.Combined with all these problems,the obstacle factors affecting the self-education function of college student associations are deeply explored in the paper,which points out the direction for the subsequent path optimization.Through research in three aspects of external support,the internal construction and improvement of the quality of activities,we put forward the specific countermeasures to give full play to the party organization and leadership,to promote the building of corporate culture,combined with corporate positioning characteristic activities such as optimization of associations college students self-education function.All these will provide new ideas and new methods for the self-education function of the new age associations.
