Individuals with different levels of self-esteem have significant differences in the processing of different emotional information,and there is a clear correlation between academic self-concept,self-esteem,and academic achievement.In the recent years,research has focused on the correlation among the three,The mechanism of how the academic self-concept affects academic performance is relatively few at home and abroad.Through previous studies,different self-esteem individuals have different attention bias characteristics to different emotional information.This study started from the point of characteristics of different level self-esteem individual's attention to appraisive academic self-information,to explore how academic self-concept affects academic achievement through the process of attention to appraisive academic self-information from different level self-esteem individuals.In the first study,? The High School Student Self-esteem Questionnaire ??? The General Academic Self-concept Questionnaire?and the academic achievement were used to investigate the high school students in a middle school.Select the top 27% individuals of the self-esteem scores as the high esteem group,select the low 27% individuals of the scores as the low esteem group.The study explored the role of self-esteem as a mediator between academic self-concept and academic achievement.The second study explored the characteristics of different self-esteem individuals' attention bias to different academic self-vocabulary,and found that individuals with low self-esteem have a longer reaction time to negative academic self-vocabulary,and there is no obvious attention bias difference between the positive and the negligible.This study the following conclusions:(1)There is a correlation between academic self-concept,self-esteem and academic achievement.(2)Self-esteem plays a mediating role between academic self-concept and academic achievement.(3)Individuals with low self-esteem have a bias toward negative academic self-vocabulary.
