Objective: Sports games actively promote the conclusion of a student's academic performance has been more and more research has confirmed that many scholars at home and abroad have also documented sport is through a mechanism to indirect effect on academic achievement,the sport has proven is one of the sports effect on academic performance,this study will discuss the mechanism of action of football sports affect academic performance.As an important part of children's cognitive function,attention to network is of great significance to children's academic achievement.Previous studies have proved that attention network is correlated with both football sports and academic performance.Therefore,this study will take football exercise as an intervention means to explore the influence of 12-week football exercise on the academic performance and attention network efficiency of first-grade students,and further analyze the mediating effect of attention network efficiency and three sub-network efficiency in football games on academic performance.It provides an important basis for improvement of primary school students' scientific cognitive ability,academic performance and the implementation of physical education teaching methods and strategiesMethods: In this study,a mixed design of 2 exercise intervention modes(experimental group and control group)×2 test time(pre-test and post-test)was adopted.The inter-subject variable was exercise intervention mode,the intra-subject variable was test time,and the dependent variables was total academic score,response time and accuracy of attention network test.Randomly selected from jinan lixia district a primary school class two,grade one,and randomly divided into experimental group and the control group,experimental group 25(13 boys,girls 12),the control group 26(13 boys,girls of 13),the experimental group in football teaching content,the control for regular physical education teaching,experimental period a total of 12 weeks,2 times a week,45 minutes each time,Moderate exercise intensity(heart rate)was used in both groups.The academic scores of the subjects were collected twice.The pre-test score was the score of the first monthly test after the beginning of the semester,and the post-test score was the final score after the 12-week exercise intervention.The original scores were converted into standard scores.The average response time,accuracy and three subnetwork efficiency of the subjects were measured before and after the attention network test for children based on E-Prime software.Repeated measurement analysis of variance and Wen Zhonglin's mediating effect test were used to analyze the data.Results:(1)After 12 weeks of exercise intervention,the total score of academic achievement in both the experimental group and the control group was significantly improved(p?0.001 in the experimental group and p?0.001 in the control group).According to the independent sample t-test,the total score of academic achievement in the experimental group was significantly improved than that in the control group(p=0.002).(2)After 12 weeks of exercise intervention,the mean response time of attention network was significantly shortened(p?0.001 in the experimental group and p?0.001 in the control group).The independent sample t-test showed that the mean response time of attention network in the experimental group was significantly shorter than that in the control group(p?0.001).After 12 weeks of exercise intervention,the efficiency of executive control network was significantly increased(p?0.001 in the experimental group and p=0.044 in the control group).The independent sample t-test showed that the efficiency of executive control network in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group(p?0.001).However,the attention network accuracy,alertness network efficiency and directional network efficiency were not significantly improved in the two groups.(3)The efficiency of executive control network played a partial mediating role between football and total academic scores,and the mediating effect size was 63.14%.Research Conclusions:(1)12 weeks of football has a significant positive effect on the total score of the first grade pupils' academic performance.(2)The 12-week football exercise has a significant positive effect on the attention network efficiency and executive control network efficiency of first-grade students.(3)Football can influence the total score of academic achievement through the partial mediating effect of executive control network efficiency.
