Objective:In China's fast-growing economic environment, people's quality of life is gradually increasing, making people pay more attention to health issues.Older people often participate in some fitness programs to improve their physical fitness and improve their health.Although there are many kinds of physical exercise methods for the elderly, the participation of Tai Chi and square dance exercises is still higher than other exercise programs.Through the relationship between Tai Chi and square dance and heart rate variability of elderly women, the research results show that the heart rate variability of older women has a greater impact on sports, which provides a theoretical basis and reference for the future selection of fitness programs for older women. Methods: In the literature method, through the search and collation of the literature, the related literature such as heart rate variability, physical function of the elderly,Tai Chi exercise, square dance exercise, etc.are obtained, which lays a solid theoretical foundation for the writing of this thesis;Experimental measurement method, this paper mainly uses the Polar Team2 team heart rate monitor to test the heart rate variability before and after exercise for60-65 year old women who participated in Tai Chi and square dance exercise. The test data is collected for experimental analysis. Then, the experimentally measured HRV time and frequency domain indicators were calculated by Kubios HRV software. The experiment monitored the heart rate by monitoring the heart rate through the ZT268 Bluetooth heart rate belt. The data statistics method mainly uses SPSS24.0 software to calculate and analyze the data through one-way variance test and paired sample T test. Results :1.After 12 weeks of Tai Chi exercise, the HRV time domain indicators SDNN and RMSSD values increased significantly(P<0.05);HRV frequency domain LF,LF/HF indicators decreased,LF showed significant difference,LF/HF the difference was more significant(P<0.01),HF,TP index increased,TP had significant difference, and HF had very significant difference.2.After 12 weeks of square dancing exercise, the HRV time domain indicators SDNN and RMSSD values increased significantly(P<0.05);HRV frequency domain LF,LF/HF indicators decreased,LF showed not significant difference,LF/HF the decrease was more significant(P<0.01),and the HF and TP indicators showed different degrees of elevation.HF had significant difference,TP increased significantly.3.After 12 weeks,in the absence of intervention control group, the HRV frequency domain LF,LF/HF of the control group increased slightly, while other indicators decreased slightly, but there was no significant difference(P>0.05).4.The study showed that there was a difference between the time domain indicators SDNN and RMSSD of the experimental group and the control group after exercise intervention. The time domain indicators of the Tai Chi group were higher than the control group(P<0.01).The SDNN index of the square dance group also showed a significant increase compared with the control group(P<0.05).The RMSSD index was not significantly lower than that of the control group;the RMSSD index between the Tai Chi group and the square dance group,Tai Chi group was significantly higher than that of the square dance group, and the SDNN index was higher than the square dance group but not obvious. The frequency domain indicators HF LF/HF and TP of the experimental group and the control group had very significant differences. The frequency domain index LF of the Tai Chi group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was significant(P<0.05).The difference between the frequency domain index LF of the square dance group and the control group index is not obvious. There is no difference between the frequency domain indicators of the Tai Chi group and the square dance group.Conclusions:1.Tai Chi and square dance two kinds of aerobic exercise can improve autonomic nervous activity, enhance sympathetic and parasympathetic tone and improve the balance of sympathetic-parasympathetic nerves, thereby improving heart rate variability in elderly women.2.Relatively speaking,Tai Chi exercise has a greater impact on HRV in older women, mainly in the improvement of the vagus nerve.
