A Study On Citizenship Education Of County Vocational Education Center

Since the concept of " citizenship education" was introduced into China at the end of the last century,all sectors of society have paid more and more attention to the cultivation of the citizenship quality of Chinese citizens,especially the student groups.Various types of schools have carried out practice activities about citizenship education.Today,with the rapid development of science and technology,the society has put forward higher requirements for the “new farmers” cultivated by the county vocational education center.Paying attention to the citizenship education of county vocational education centers is not only to improve the quality of students in the county vocational education center,but also to the development of the whole society.Therefore,it is of great significance to conduct research on citizenship education at county vocational education centers.This study used questionnaires,interviews and other research methods to systematically study the citizenship education of county vocational education centers.It is found that citizenship education in county vocational education centers has problems like citizenship education is weak,citizenship education goals are not clear,and citizenship education content is lacking,citizenship education courses are lacking,citizenship education methods are outdated,the evaluation mechanism of citizenship education is irrational,citizenship education teachers are lacking and the confusion between citizenship education and moral education.The causes of these problems can be summarized as the reasons: social reasons,family reasons and reasons of the county vocational education center.The reasons for the county vocational education center include: lack of understanding of citizenship education,teachers are lacking of citizenship education ability.Social reasons include: the impact of bad social atmosphere and insufficient government support;family reasons include: the shackles of traditional "small farmers",the family education was dereliction of duty,and weak family culture capital.According to the reasons,this paper proposes to raise the awareness of cultivating citizens at the county vocational education center,formulate a sound evaluation mechanism for civic education,improve teachers' civic education ability,raise awareness of citizenship education in all sectors of society,strengthen cooperation between society,government,enterprises and families to create a good atmosphere for ccitizenship education,strengthen citizen knowledge in rural areas,and organize parents Learn about civic education and family education..
