Universities are the cradle of high-quality talents for the society.High-quality talents become an important part of a country's comprehensive national strength,and innovation and creativity become an important driving force for the country's development.With the new round of industrial revolution and scientific and technological revolution centered on the Internet and information technology,innovation and creativity have become the decisive factors for the development of a country,a region and a nation.More and more countries are cultivating the creativity of the next generation and extensively carrying out innovative education as the core issue of their national education strategic planning.This research is mainly based on the perspectives of positive psychology.It uses literature analysis and questionnaire survey to analyze the correlation between Lange's Mindfulness and college students' creativity.The factors that influence the creativity level of college students in Langer Mindfulness Scale(LMS)were analyzed,and the good measures are applied to the cultivation of college students' creativity.This research is divided into five parts.The introduction includes problem origin,the research reviews,research purpose and significance,and the research ideas and methods.The first chapter analyzes the mindfulness theory,including the formulation,essence and structure of the mindfulness theory.The second chapter takes the freshmen of northeast petroleum university as the research object to investigate and analyze the creativity status.The third chapter is the correlation analysis between the Langer's Mindfulness and the college students' creativity.Firstly,the relationship between the Langer's Mindfulness and the college students' creativity is theoretically elaborated,Secondly,secondly,the Langer Mindfulness Scale(LMS)and the Williams creativity tendency scale(WPMF)were used to investigate and evaluate the mindfulness level and creativity level of 273 freshmen respectively.The questionnaires were analyzed by SPSS19.0 for demographic variables,correlations and regression statistics.The results show that there is no significant difference in gender for all dimensions of college students' creativity,There is little difference in the creative tendencies in major,but the science and engineering college students are higher score than the liberal arts college students in the curiosity dimension;From the perspective of gender,there are significant differences between boys and girls in the dimensions of novelty seeking(t=3.396,p< 0.01)and novelty producing(t=2.731,p< 0.01)in the Langer Mindfulness Scale,and boys are higher scores than girls.In the professional field,There is no significant difference in liberal arts,science and engineering,and the score of science and engineering in novelty seeking is higher than the liberal arts students;There is a significant positive correlation between the dimensions of LMS and the dimensions of WPMF(p< 0.01).In the regression analysis,novelty producing and the total scores of mindfulness were positively predictive of curiosity(35.8%),novelty producing and the total scores of mindfulness were positively predictive of challange(32.4%),and novelty producing and the total scores of mindfulness were positively predictive of the total scores ofcreativity(32.7%).In general,the overall level of langer's mindfulness and creativity have a positive and significant correlation.According to the research,the fourth chapter is that the effective training methods of improving mindfulness are applied to the cultivation of college students' creativity,so as to provide some references for improving the creativity level of college students.
