As the frontier of Ideological Construction in the new era,colleges and universities play a leading role in fulfilling the basic tasks of building up morality and cultivating people.The school-running ideas,aims,traditions and lessons that they follow in the course of their establishment,development and growth are not only an important part of the history of colleges and universities,but also the practice and establishment of colleges and universities.It is also an important carrier for universities to practice morality and cultivate people.colleges and universities should actively respond to the various policies and policies of the state regarding the establishment of morality and the cultivation of human resources when they play the functions of preserving,educating and managing school history.And Further tapping the unique advantages of school history in Ideological and political education,actively exploring its ideological and political education function,and striving to promote the positive significance of school history research in carrying out ideological and political education work,so as to better integrate the national educational concept,the purpose of school education and the personal development needs of teachers,students and staff,so as to promote ideological and political education in Colleges and universities in the new era.The innovation and development of education in practice and education will help build a strong country in education.Through consulting the historical data of many different universities,using the methods of literature research,case analysis,experience summary and other scientific research methods,this paper makes a comprehensive and in-depth study on the related contents of Ideological and political education in Colleges and universities through the use of University history,which is mainly reflected in the following aspects:First,Deeply tapping the resources of University history,especially therich ideological and political education resources in the material,institutional and spiritual aspects of University history,respectively,explores the special attributes of Ideological and political education in Universities from four aspects of uniqueness,closeness,vividness and persistence,and further clarifies the specific ideological and political workers in University history.The unique advantages of the work.Second,by consulting a large number of relevant information about school history and combining with the specific content of Ideological and political education function,this paper systematically expounds the ideological and political education guaranteeing function of university history in ensuring that university development conforms to the trend of the times,attaches importance to the origin of school history and meets the needs of reality,unifies personal ideal and belief with the idea of running a university,and integrates personal development planning with the development goal of a university.One shows the guiding function,the reward function in goal incentive and spiritual incentive,and the demonstration function in ideological identification and action implementation.Third,it deeply analyses the problems existing in the ideological and political education in Colleges and universities by using school history.Firstly,the importance of Ideological and political education in Colleges and universities is insufficient,which is embodied in three aspects: insufficient attention paid by the members of the leading group,insufficient attention paid by the researchers of University history,and insufficient attention paid by the ideological and political education workers in Colleges and universities;secondly,ideological and political education in Colleges Educators lack the ability to use school history to carry out ideological and political education,and lack of awareness and experience in using school history to carry out ideological and political education.Finally,with the further study of school history,some colleges and universities have achieved some valuable research results,but the practical significance of the research results has not been truly reflected,and the use of school history to carry out ideological and political education is weak.The carrier of education is scarce.Fourth,In view of the problems existing in the use of school history tocarry out ideological and political education in Colleges and universities,this paper puts forward practical measures: first,when compiling and refining school history,colleges and universities should pay attention to the function of Ideological and political education;second,they should pay attention to the implicit function of Ideological and Political Education in the construction of campus culture;third,they should promote the ideological and political educators to use school history to carry out ideological and Political Education Fourthly,we should innovate the carrier of Ideological and political education by using school history.This research mainly elaborates the ways to realize the ideological and political education function of university history from the above four aspects.
