School history culture is the cultural representation of school history and the culture chain of school history inheritance,including all material and non-material products created by the school in the practice of school history.The characteristics of school history culture,such as uniqueness,vividness,closeness,contemporaneity and permanence,which meet the psychological characteristics,cognition rules,education rules,and era requirements of college students.Universities in Xizang are at the forefront of the anti-secession struggle,and their ideological spheres of infiltration and anti-infiltration,and struggles for anti-scramble are extremely fierce.As the first university founded by the state for Xizang,in order to win the war without smoke of gunpowder,it is necessary to deeply tap the educational advantages of school history and culture and the function of Ideological and political education.Through field investigation and research,it is found that the history and culture of Xizang Minzu University play a unique role in patriotism education,national unity and progress education,anti secession education and “five identities” education.TakingXizang Minzu University as the research model,this paper comprehensively uses the methods of literature analysis,interdisciplinary research,case analysis and field investigation.The research on the role of university history and culture in Ideological and political education of Xizang Minzu University consists of four parts: introduction,text,conclusion and references.The main body of this paper consists of four parts.First of all,it systematically expounds the related concepts of school history and culture,clarifying school history,school history culture,and campus culture;university and university spirit;school history and school history culture of Xizang Minzu University.Secondly,from the aspects of patriotism education,national unity education,anti secession struggle education and “five identities” education,this paper summarizes the ideological and political education function in the school history culture of Xizang Minzu University.Thirdly,based on the questionnaire survey of history and culture of the Xizang Minzu University,this paper analyzes the problems of the history and culture of Xizang Minzu University in the ideological and political education,such as the emphasis on the nodes of the school celebration and the neglect of the daily education,the emphasis on the form construction and the neglect of the connotation mining,the lack of the sense of identity and responsibility for the history and culture of the student and the lack of diversity of communication channels.Further analysis of the main reasons for the problems are: the lack of attention to the school,the school historyof cultural education and teaching system is not perfect,the lack of systematic and vivid school history documents.Finally,the paper puts forward the ways to realize the function of the school history culture in the ideological and political education of Xizang Minzu University,which mainly includes five aspects: paying attention to the study of the school history culture to institutionalize it,building the material basis of the school history culture,improving the teaching system of the school history culture and ideological and political education,enriching the practice of the school history culture education,and innovating the way of the school history culture communication.
