Sukhomlinskii said: "if teachers are eager to impart knowledge,before they manage to cheer up students to have inner states for inspiring intelligence,the knowledge will make students just have indifferent attitudes and be tired from brain working dispassionately".[1]Gu Ling Yuan,a famous educationist,said: "During the classroom teaching,what the most significant thing for teachers is activation of learning motivation,which is to make students interested in learning content and study hard and well." Obviously,interest is the best teacher and passion is the most powerful motivation.Once students have interests,they will be thirst for knowledge of the subject,by showing their mental disposition of having to understand and master the learning content.Therefore,how to improve the autonomy and interestingness in geography class of rural junior middle school is an important research goal of the author's geography teaching.This paper,by making use of rural junior middle school students' psychological feature of loving playing games,introduces education games into geography class,to make students master knowledge and skills in games.Build four game modes including “games based on recognition reproduce the knowledge "," games based on geographical spatial distribution of the knowledge "“games based on the emotional attitude experience knowledge","games based on the integrated application of knowledge",analyze each mode in detail,and offer the basic strategy and classic cases of these game modes.This paper will discuss the practical research of "games-teaching-mode" in geography teaching of rural junior middle school with six aspects.The first chapter is the introduction,which describes the background of this topic research,the progress and status of domestic and foreign research,the significance of the research,the main research content and research methods.The second chapter refers to the theoretical basis and the definition of relevant core concepts on the research.Firstly,define the core concepts of "games-teaching-mode","rural junior high school " and " geography teaching ";Secondly,it explains the theoretical basis of this thesis.Last but not the least,analyze the basic requirements and methods in geography teaching combined with their basic psychological characteristics and performance of rural junior middle school students.The third chapter is about questionnaire survey and analysis.To get enough information on current situation of the application of geography teaching in rural junior middle schools can help to provide the basis and motivation for carrying on the project.In order to ensure the authenticity of the survey results and the quality of this research topic,the author set up teacher questionnaire and student questionnaire respectively,and selected teachers and students from typical rural schools to carry out the questionnaire survey.The fourth chapter involves the practice research and the application-effect analysis about the game teaching mode in the geography teaching of countryside junior middle school,including the thought and process of the application research,different games-teaching-modes' application basic strategy,the typical cases and application result analysis of the geography teaching in countryside junior middle school.The fifth chapter is about the promotion and thinking of "games-teaching-mode" of geography teaching in rural junior middle school.This chapter expatiates the practice significance and development prospect of the games-teaching-mode in the countryside junior middle school geography teaching,combines with the current situation and requirement of the games-teaching-mode in rural junior high school geography,and put forward several piece of popularization suggestion and ideas.The sixth chapter is the summary and expectation.This chapter is mainly to make a summary,offer some implementation suggestions and matters need attention to front-line teachers according to the application of the games-teaching-mode in the geography teaching of countryside junior middle school,and state the shortcomings and insufficiency in this paper.
