An Empirical Study On The Selection Of Women's Canoe Athletes In China

“Cross-border cross-item selection” is a new initiative of the State Sports General Administration to prepare for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.From December 2017 to September 2018,the National Canoe Team organized more than 90 other project athletes to cross-item to the women's rowing program,aiming to take advantage of the national system,select and train outstanding women rowing athletes to prepare for the event.The Olympic Games will achieve the goal of winning gold and building a sports power.This article takes the athletes who participate in the cross-item training as the research object,and takes the selection,training,testing and competition in the training process as the main research content,and comprehensively uses questionnaires,interviews,literature materials,data statistics and experiments to study the Chinese women.The rower athletes conducted an empirical study on the selection of cross-items and obtained results with realistic guiding significance,mainly:1.The talent reserve of Chinese women rowing athletes has been thickened by cross-item selection,which has improved the level of competition.After nearly one year of training,testing and monitoring,the overall strength of China's women's rowing boat has been significantly improved,and in the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games,won two gold medals in the competition(WC1-200 m and WC2-500m)It is precisely because of the rational implementation of the cross-item selection in the women's rowing project that it has achieved such impressive results.2.Through the women's drawing cross-item selection training,the traditional training methods have been broken.The training is promoted in three stages.The first is the “thinking off” and “balanced” stage;the second is “cognitive” and “technical”."The stage;the third is the "double rowing off" and "entry clearance" stage.The athletes not only improved the rowing skills and competition level,but also found a group of excellent athletes with world-class potential in training and testing.They also gained many effective training methods,teaching concepts and monitoring methods.3.The selection index system of the primary and advanced stages of the Chinese women's rowing athletes was established.The selection index system for cross-item women's rowing athletes consists of two parts.The first part is the test material selection index model after primary selection,from other project athletes to women's rowing project and after primarytraining.The second part is the model of secondary material selection during the training and competition process of the cross-term athletes who have undergone primary selection.The establishment of the two models fills the gap in the selection model of the kayak women's rowing boat project in China.At the same time,it has practical guiding significance for the scientific selection and training of kayak and preparation for the Tokyo Olympic Games.
