The sustainable development of beach volleyball in China can not be separated from the selection and training of young beach volleyball reserve talents,and the selection and training of young reserve talents can not be separated from the scientific selection system.Because the training mechanism of beach volleyball reserve talents in China is not perfect,the selection system is not perfect,the brain drain is large in the process of training,which leads to the shortage of beach volleyball reserve talent reserve.Cross-item selection is the "new noun" and "new darling" of the selection of reserve talents in competitive sports in China,but there is currently no index system for cross-item selection for young beach volleyball players in china.This study uses literature method,expert interview method,Delphi method,level analysis method and other research methods to understand the selection of young beach volleyball team in various cities in Shandong Province,to carry out systematic research and analysis of the cross-item selection index of youth beach volleyball athletes,to initially construct the youth beach volleyball athletes cross-item material selection index system and determine the weight value of the selection index at all levels,to provide a strong guarantee for the selection and training of outstanding reserve talents for beach volleyball in Shandong Province.The results and conclusions:(1)Shandong Province,young beach volleyball athletes selected mainly by coaches according to their own experience.there are young beach volleyball players in various cities cross-item selection,including Linyi,Binzhou,Dongying,Heze and other cities beach volleyball cross-item selection phenomenon is more obvious.(2)From the leading factors of competitive ability,action structure,performance evaluation methods and other analysis of young beach volleyball players cross-item selection can be for volleyball,basketball,handball,badminton and other items.It is more appropriate for young male athletes to be under 16 years of age and young female athletes not to exceed 13 or 14 years of age for cross-item selection.(3)The similarity of athletic ability and the transferability of sports quality are the advantages of the development of beach volleyball cross-item selection.After the transfer of special skills,special psychological quality lack of factors to restrict the development of beach volleyball cross-item selection.The state's focus on the trainingof reserve talents and the support of cross-item selection policy are the opportunities for beach volleyball cross-item selection.The decline of international status and the strength of European and American countries have been strong is the challenge of beach volleyball cross-item selection.(4)After three rounds of questionnaires,a cross-item material selection index system for young beach volleyball players in Shandong Province was constructed,which included 4 first-level indicators,11 second-level indicators and 38 third-level indicators,including body shape,physical fitness,special technology and psychological function.(5)Using the hierarchical analysis method,the peer weight and global weight of each indicator are calculated,and the weight of the cross-item selection index system for young beach volleyball players in Shandong Province is finally determined.The first-level index of the system is ranked as: physical quality,special technology,physical form,psychological function.The first three of the second-level indicators are: basic technology,special bounce quality,length.The top five of the three-level indicator's importance are: dunking,sand running high,pad ball,sand 24 meters movement,offensive consciousness.
