In recent years,the development of competitive sports in China is in a rising period.Located in the central part of China,Henan Province is known for its Central Plains culture and Central Plains martial arts.It has abundant martial arts talents and has a handful of competition results in the country.Competitive martial arts athletes contribute their own strength to the brilliant development of martial arts in Henan Province.How to place retired athletes will become an important factor for the better development of competitive martial arts.The employment resettlement problem is one of the great problems faced by contemporary retired athletes.It is affected by many factors such as national policy,personal ability and social development.In the process of decommissioning,athletes encounter different problems due to the change of social roles.This article starts from the current situation of the retired athletes in the society,and studies the work arrangement and development process of the martial arts athletes after retirement.According to the case study,the problems faced by the retired athletes in the process of decommissioning transformation are sorted and screened,and scientific and effective analysis is carried out for the existing problems.It is proposed to propose some constructive strategies for the retiring of athletes.This paper mainly uses the literature data method,questionnaire survey method,interview method,logic analysis method and mathematical statistics to study the retiring employment placement of the competitive martial arts athletes in Henan Province.Through investigation and research,the following conclusions are drawn:1.Athletes with excellent athletic performance are often placed in employment by the government.Excellent performance is the main performance of the athlete's career.Excellent sports performance not only glory for the country,but also bring good protection for their employment.2.Professional martial arts athletes enter the provincial team at the age of eight or nine.At the elementary school level,they began to carry out high-intensity training in professional fields.Their skills are solid but they lack social basic education and their comprehensive cultural quality is low.3.The problem of injuries,after retiring,there is no perfect medical security,and the injury will put pressure on their life and work after retirement.4.Athletes are trained in the provincial team for a long time,they are less exposed to the society.After retiring,they are not confident,and the gap is large.The athletes with excellent performances have high employment expectations after retirement.The mentality of “high or no,low” makes them renew in the new environment.The employment adaptation period is long.5.Contemporary society needs comprehensive sports talents.The employment of sports-related departments is limited.The employment of martial arts retired athletes is narrow.Most athletes who choose their own jobs cannot successfully achieve transformation.6.Due to changes in national policies and the development of society,the promotion of athletes' reemployment training,guidance and other related policies is insufficient,and implementation is not in place.This has caused most athletes to face enormous challenges and problems during their retirement and re-employment.7.The government advocates self-employment choices for retired athletes,and encourages athletes to choose their careers.However,there is a lack of specific entrepreneurial policies and guidance,and entrepreneurship is difficult.
