Research On The Social Work Intervention Of The Community Residents Drug Safety Service

Drugs are directly related to the health and life safety of the people.In recent years,the frequent occurrence of drug accidents in our country has caused serious social panic.It not only indicates that there are many problems of drug safety in China,but also poses a threat to people's lives.The government and regulators have taken a series of measures to ensure the safety of the people's medicines,for example,increasing the supervision of drug safety and improving the standardization of the drug market,etc.It is effective to reduce the recurrence of major drug accidents.However,there are some drug problems caused by drug users and pharmacists.For that cannot be taken care of by government,it is necessary to rely on the community service center platform to provide residents with a series of drug safety service.The issue of drug safety among community residents is closely related to the family's safe life.The involvement of social work in community drug safety services can make up for the lack of government supervision and create a safe,healthy and secure consumer and living environment for residents.The research starts from the actual situation of community residents and analyzes the feasibility and necessity of social work to intervene community residents' drug safety issues.Based on the community,the research also studies the specific implementation process of the involvement of community work,group work,and case work in community drug safety services.Firstly,we visited 20 households in the L community of Shenzhen City,through interviewing and observing,we described and analyzed the drug safety problems existing in the community.Secondly,based on the issues observed,we proposed feasible improvements and carried out corresponding services.From the observations and interviews,it could be found that the drug safety problems existed in the L community include household drug storage problems,adverse drug reactions,arbitrarily discarded expired drugs,lack of knowledge about safe drug use,and other drug safety issues,and proposed improvement plans.Finally,we used professional methods of social work to provide residents with various services they need.Through community work,we helped drug-related people to improve and expanded their social support networks;through group work provided the long-term sick residents with psychological counseling services,provided psychological counseling service for residents who have long-term illness through case work,and combined some cases to show the specific situation.Through the service,we found that different residents had different problems and different needs.It was difficult for social workers to provide comprehensive services.Therefore,we need more resources and help from government departments.In addition,we analyzed the problems and shortcomings in the service process and put forward some feasible suggestions.Finally,we explored a service model to adapt to the L community,the service model "three social linkage" and "social worker + volunteer".Because it cannot be well-developed projects and services relying solely on social work agencies and professional social workers,it is necessary to provide better services for residents through the help of communities,social organizations and volunteers.
