Study On Patterns Creation Level Of Spatial Relationship Among Children Aged 5-6 Years

The purpose of this study is to understand the level of the existing pattern of creating spatial relationship,the possibility of creating spatial relationship pattern.On the basis of understanding children,support children to create spatial relationship pattern,and put forward reasonable suggestions to parents and teachers.In this study,45 boys and 45 girls from three kindergartens of different grades in chengdu were tested,and questionnaires on family economic status were given to the sample children.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)Among the five tasks of pattern recognition,pattern replication,pattern filling,pattern extension and pattern description,the pass rate of pattern replication is the highest and the pass rate of pattern recognition is the lowest.(2)Children did not reach the level of "trying" to create spatial relationship patterns without examples.The children achieved the level of "trying" by creating the pattern of direction change under the example condition.(3)In the absence of examples,kindergartens at all levels reached the level of "trying" when creating patterns and non-spatial relationship patterns.In the case of examples,the first-level gardens have reached the level of "trying" in the three spatial relationship patterns of creating direction,position and distance,while the second-level gardens and the third-level gardens have reached the level of "trying" in the mode of direction change.(4)The better the foundation of pattern recognition,pattern replication,pattern padding,pattern extension,and pattern description,the greater the possibility of creating spatial relationship patterns.(5)In the case of example creation,the total number of all kinds of spatial relations created in the first-level garden is significantly higher than that in the third-level garden.The total number of position shifting patterns was created,and the first-level garden was significantly higher than the third-level garden.(6)The higher the educational level of parents,the higher the occupational level of parents,and the more possessions the family has,the higher the ability of children to create spatial relationship model.
