Pattern creation refers to the ability to disrupt and reorganize the structural framework of pattern on the basis of pattern recognition,and insert or delete some basic units regularly,thus making the original pattern structure change and becoming a new pattern structure.It is the highest expression of pattern ability,which requires children to be able to identify clearly and carefully the constituent elements of the pattern,to be able to arrange and combine the pattern structure in a planned manner,thereby creating a new pattern structure or sequence.At the same time,the ability to recognize and use patterns exists in a series of mathematical tasks,which can trigger logical reasoning,which is very important to the development of children's spatial consciousness,sequence and number sequence,comparison and classification,arithmetic structure,measurement unit,data analysis,etc.This study attempts to explore the creation of large class child patterns,and encodes and logs in the obtained data,and then analyzes the correlation between model replication and pattern creation.In this study,60 children aged 5 to 6 years in Y kindergarten in Chongqing were selected for the examination,and individual tests were carried out using different tasks for children's model replication and model creation.The study procedures are as follows: First,pattern recognition,first,the researchers will show various patterns for children to identify,so that they find the elements and laws of the pattern;A given material allows the child to invent a distinctive new pattern that cannot be repeated with any patterns previously seen.The results showed that:(1)there were no significant gender differences in the model reproduction ability and model creation ability of children.(2)External intervention generally determines the performance of most young children in the aspect of creation,the impact on replication is weaker than the impact on creation.(3)Pattern replication is highly correlated with pattern creation.The reason comes from the following aspects:(1)in the model of learning,young children do not feel that this is a gender-related issue,but a game for both men and women.Prejudices and stereotypes of gender in different disciplines will not appear until after primary school,or be strengthened.In the kindergarten stage,the prejudice of society and family to young children is not obvious,men and women children usually contact with the practice of equal opportunities,model capacity deve-loppment level is quite.(2)The process of pattern creation and the process of pattern replication contain the basic premise and process of pattern recognition,and pattern creation is actually the promotion and transformation of the replication process,that is,some elements can be obtained by changing some elements in the existing mode,and pattern creation is not a new process with which pattern replication has nothing to do with.Finally,it may be related to the test pro-gram,replication before,creation in the back,the practice effect may not work,the study design is insu-fficient,not well controlled and eliminated sequential effects.External intervention generally determines the creative performance of most young children,and the impact on replication is we-aker than on creation.(3)The nature and effect of the impact of external intervention depend on the understanding of the concept of patterns and the relevant activity experience of young children.The experience of whether young children can self-construct pattern replication and model creation without the intervention of external adults also needs to be studied in detail.
