The 2017 edition of the high school physics curriculum standard has been issued,marking the beginning of a new round of curriculum reform in high school physics.Scientific inquiry is one of the four aspects of key competence of physics.Therefore,the use of effective teaching strategies to improve the physical science inquiry ability of middle school students is of great significance to improve the implementation level of high school physics curriculum.This study was conducted by literature analysis,questionnaire survey,observation method,and interview method.Taking cooperative learning theory,constructivist theory,and inquiry theory as the basis of research theory,based on the level of the core literacy(scientific inquiry)of physics in the 2017 edition of the high school physics curriculum standard,and conduct a questionnaire survey to understand the current situation of the high school students' scientific inquiry ability,and analyze the problems of students under the different scientific inquiry ability standards.Combined with literature analysis and questionnaire survey results,an effective teaching strategy for cultivating high school students' scientific inquiry ability is proposed.Taking the experiment of overweight and weightlessness as an example,the practice and observation of the cultivation of scientific inquiry ability is carried out in the way of physics experiment cooperative learning.After the completion of the teaching practice,students who participated in the collaborative study of physics experiments were interviewed to feedback the effect of the strategy.The study found that this way of cultivating scientific inquiry ability through physics experiment is feasible,and it has certain effect on the cultivation of students' scientific inquiry ability,and this method can be generally accepted by students.Students' scientific inquiry skills can be cultivated using appropriate teaching strategies.However,in order to have a significant effect,teachers need to have a consistent attitude to use the appropriate strategies to develop students' scientific inquiry ability,and it requires the teacher well organize the classroom and also being patient and dedicated.
