Research On The Pertinence Of The Development Of Household Service Program Of Higher Vocational Colleges To Social Needs

At present,the development of China's economy is situated in an age of great opportunities,which witnesses an obvious tendency of social modernization and the ascendant development of household service industry.With the dramatic increase of social demands,the society has put forward new demands for the development of this industry and for household service personnel with a high quality integrating knowledge and skill.However,the current household service industry can not undertake the responsibility to train and supply skilled household serviceman,failing to keep up with the demand growth.Moreover,the industry is in chaotic order and the practitioners are not qualified.All of these problems need to be solved.Against this background,research on the development of Household service programs of higher vocational colleges can provide intellectual support for supplying high-skilled serviceman.It is also of great theoretical and practical significance for promoting the standardization construction of the admittance to this industry and facilitating the optimization and transformation of the structure this industry.Focusing on the realistic problem regarding the pertinence of household service industry to social demands,this thesis develops along the line of the feasibility of development,problems of development and related reasons.Through document analysis and survey,it first induces the feasibility of the household service program in respect of economic development,social need,the development related disciplinary programs and demand-supply contradictions.By reviewing a large quantity of literature,it elaborates on the contradiction between the development of the household service program and social need,pointing out the pertinence of the former to the latter.Finally,it proposes suggestions for the development of such program of vocational colleges.They include positioning precisely the target for talent cultivation in reference to the market situation,marketing and promoting home economics service programs and changing the traditional social conceptions,unblocking employment channels for students and propelling the industry-university integration to meet market demand.This thesis holds that household service programs of vocational colleges as an Education for employment in home economics market,should take into account the situation of labor market,clarify the objective of talent training and lead students to identify accurately the current employment situation and acquire cultural knowledge and trade skills in order to patch up the demand-supply break in this industry and produce high-quality skilled personnel to meet social demand.It also points out that the talent training of household service programs of vocational colleges should abide by not only the natural law of talent growth but also the needs of social development,integrating thus talent training and social needs.It also helps to provide technical and intellectual support for talents in the household management industry,supply reference for the healthy and sustainable development of this type of programs and alleviate the shortage of high-skilled talents in the household service market.All these are of great significance to speed up the standardization process of such programs of vocational colleges.
