Employment expectation is the lowest goal set by students for the industry, salary, region and job selection standard. It is based on the change of supply and demand relationship in the employment market and students' own reality, reflecting the degree to which work meets students' material and spiritual needs. As a new specialty in Higher Vocational education, the specialty still has some problems, such as imperfect development and non-standard industry development. Therefore, the study of students' employment expectation will help promote students' employment and professional development, and strengthen industry norms. This study uses questionnaires and interviews to study the employment expectations of home economics service and management major students in vocational colleges from the four dimensions of industry expectations, salary expectations, regional expectations, and job selection standard, and obtain student employment through data analysis. The status quo of expectation is as follows: More than half of the students are willing to engage in the domestic industry;the salary is expected to be concentrated at 3000-3500 yuan;the regional expectation is that they tend to be big cities such as Beishangguang; The development prospects are highly valued in the criteria for job selection. In addition, the analysis of the differences in student employment expectations in terms of gender, grade, and parental occupations shows that there are significant differences in salary expectations and job selection standards among students of different grades, and the performance is significantly higher than the lower grades.Senior grades;there are significant differences in the standards of career choices of college students with different father qualifications, and the expectations of career standards for fathers and colleges are higher. There are significant differences in professional expectations and career selection criteria among students from different family locations, which are manifested in the fact that students from rural areas are more willing to engage in housekeeping industry, while students from urban areas have higher expectations of career selection criteria.Through the investigation and study on the status quo of employment expectations of the domestic service and management students in the vocational colleges of D,G and F,it is found that there are deviations between students' willingness to engage in education and training and the needs of enterprises, between students' low industry expectations and professional training objectives in cities and towns, between students' high salary expectations in lower grades, and between students' serious employment tendency in big cities and high expectations in choosing jobs. This paper summarizes the causes of these problems from five perspectives: inadequate vocational preparation for students, unreasonable school training objectives and professional settings, irregular development of domestic enterprises, lack of effective government supervision of the domestic industry, and parents' prejudice against the domestic industry. Finally, some suggestions are put forward.tudents improve the comprehensive ability of employment in the domestic industry;schools should highlight professional characteristics;actively play the synergy of domestic enterprises;the government plays a leading role;parents should get rid of prejudice and respect employment in the domestic industry.
