A Study Of The Supply-side Reform Of Vocational Education During The Period Of New Normal

Vocational education has taken the responsibility to provide technology and technological talents for economic development,which affects the development scale,quality and capacity of vocational education.Since entering the 21^st century,high technology industry and policy change lead to the rapid increase of vocational education colleges and students,and the stably rising number of its product supply.However,it is clearly known that our vocational education has some drawbacks.For example,vocational education blindly emphasizes scale rather than quality,puts students recruiting and academic qualifications at the first place.Meanwhile,the graduate students cannot nicely bear the duty for the society;as a result,vocational education now is not widely accepted.Under the background of A Period of New Normal,this paper takes School C as an example,and adopts the methods of investigation and interview,finds that there are still many problems on the supply side of Vocational Education in this school,mainly in the following aspects:First,there are resistances to the transformation of supply to demand of vocational education students in the employment market;Second,there are restrictions on the transformation of input to output in vocational schools;Third,the government's top-level governance responsibility for vocational education is inadequate.Fourth,vocational education itself does not receive sufficient social support.These problems ultimately come from the participants and environment in the supply side,mainly including:vocational education schools,school-enterprise cooperation,the field of government,the social field of students'source,which are the results of the accumulation of historical factors,including people's inherent concepts and traditional management system,etc.To seek structural reform in vocational education system,we must confront and deal with outstanding problems haunting the supply side of vocational education,and demolish the barriers in system.With the aid of theoretical tools in this study,this paper makes a study of this problem.If these problems are solved,more effective ideas of talents cultivating must be set up,infrastructure capacity of vocational schools must be strengthened,the strategy of students recruiting must be well planned,incentive mechanism between schools and enterprise must be well formulated to establish better developmental environment and stimulate the vitality of schools.It is hoped to be a reference for other vocational schools.
