In recent years,with the rise of China’s economic strength,there are more and more Westerners coming to China to study,work,do business,trade and cultural exchanges.Multinational marriages that marry Chinese women are also everywhere.Many Chinese and Western mixed-race children Born and living in China has made us uncomfortable.In Chengdu,a city where you don’t want to leave,there are more than 200 mixed-race children.To find a balance between Eastern and Western cultures,parents of these mixed-race children generally choose local international schools with Chinese and English language teaching environments for their children.With the rise of "Chinese fever" and foreign "immersion Chinese",the Chinese language teaching of international schools is also in full swing,becoming the most popular second foreign language after English.In international schools,the parents of these mixed-race children are not worried about the English level of their children.Instead,they are very concerned and expecting Chinese teaching in international schools.They expect their children’s Chinese proficiency to reach the level of their mother tongue.However,the author finds that although these Chinese and Western mixed-race children live in the context of the target language,they are very beneficial to learning the language,but their Chinese level has not improved significantly.The enthusiasm for learning Chinese is not high,and the motivation is not enough.Low students.This paper investigates Chinese language teaching of Chinese and Western mixed-race children according to the problems of finding problems,asking questions and solving problems,and divides the paper into five parts.The first part of the introduction includes the background,meaning,theory of second language and the status quo of research at home and abroad.The second part introduces the general situation of Chengdu QSI International Primary School and the characteristics of Chinese and Western mixed children including physical,psychological and learning language.It analyzes the uniqueness of Chinese and Western mixed children.The third part examines the Chinese language teaching situation of Chinese and Western mixed children from the aspects of learning motivation and attitude,the performance of classroom learning,the ability of learning,and the teaching material of textbooks through Case analysis,interview survey and questionnaire survey.And analysis results.The fourth part summarizes the problems in the Chinese teaching of Chinese and Western mixed-race children,including the teaching system,teachers and their own problems.The fifth part puts forward some thoughts and suggestions on these issues for the reference of Chinese teachers and management departments of international schools to promote the development of Chinese teaching in international schools.
