Chemistry is a subject based on experiment.For rural students,the chance of being exposed to experiment is relatively less.Therefore,it is of great significance for the development of rural education to use effective strategies to improve the scientific ability of the rural students of senior one.This research subject mainly adopts the literature analysis method,questionnaire survey method and qualitative research method.On the basis of constructivism and inquiry theory,this paper defines the relevant core concepts.Secondly,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the scientific experimental inquiry ability of the rural students of senior one.In order to understand the status quo of the experimental research ability of the rural students of senior one,several dimensions such as the ability of raising questions and assuming,the ability of making experimental plans,the ability of experimental operation,the ability of data processing and the ability of data analysis were analyzed.Through a comprehensive analysis of the questionnaire survey results,an effective teaching strategy was put forward to cultivate the experimental inquiry ability of the rural students of senior one.Then the experiment of iron and water reaction is taken as an example to feedback the effect of strategy.This subject is divided into five parts.The first part is the preface,which consists of research background,research purpose and significance,research framework and research methods.The second part elaborates the research summary,including the definition of core concepts,the status quo of scientific inquiry ability research at home and abroad,and the research theoretical basis.The third part is the questionnaire survey analysis of the rural students of senior one of scientific inquiry ability to do a preliminary analysis.The fourth part puts forward the corresponding teaching strategies for the research status,such as the ability to raise questions,guess and suppose,experiment design and experiment operation,evidence collection,reflection and evaluation.The fifth part,taking the reaction of iron and water vapor as an example,designs the teaching case that conforms to the corresponding teaching strategy.Through the above contents,this paper hopes to provide a certain degree of exploration help for the improvement of students' scientific inquiry ability of the rural students of senior one,so as to provide reference for chemistry teachers.
