Improving the quality of postgraduate education in an all-round way is a very important point for China to improve the level of personnel training.It is also the key to improve national competitiveness.The factors affecting the quality of postgraduate education are multi-faceted and require hard working in the state,universities and students themselves.It is guaranteed by joint efforts.From the national level,the reform plan of the "four pillars and eight pillars" of China's education system has basically been established.From the perspective of colleges and universities,the education reform has entered the stage of"complete construction interior decoration".Only through the internalization of graduate students,through the self-education of graduate students,the external initiatives of the state and universities can produce substantial effects.The improvement of self-education of graduate students is the internal cause of ensuring the quality of postgraduate education.All external efforts can only be effective through the internal factors of graduate students.In this context,this study is based on internal and external philosophical theories,with six graduate students 2-3 years of postgraduate life as a time span,using qualitative research methods to explore the impact of postgraduate education on self-education,showing individual participation in schools.The self-educational power referred to in this study refers specifically to the individuality psychology of arousing,promoting,operating,maintaining and transforming various self-education activities in the practice of graduate education.It includes two aspects:one is attitude and the other is ability.The former is presented in this study through motivation and self-fulfillment goals.The latter is called self-education ability,reflecting the specific process of realizing,actualizing,and practicing each person's self-education and self-education.The investigation of ability is reflected in whether the individual can consciously achieve the goal and complete self-education if the external cause is insufficient.Based on this understanding,the thesis focuses on the independent learning activities of graduate students,follows the self-education path of "from the inside out" to explore the factors affecting their learning activities,and uses individual interviews and direct interviews to motivate graduate students to self-educate.Process and results are analyzed.The results show that the self-education of graduate students is not enough.The main performance is that the utilitarian motivation is above the academic motivation.In the actual self-education process,it lacks execution and action.The reason is that the motivation for self-education as internal cause is not firm enough.The lack of driving force for postgraduate education in external factors has affected the participation and experience in the process of self-education,which has negative consequences for the quality of postgraduate education.As a result,graduate students have experienced academic slack in the "free" educational environment and failed to fully internalize the real role of education-to spread the deep knowledge,to leave the campus after reaching the basic graduation requirements.In view of the manifestations,causes and consequences of the inadequate self-education ability of postgraduates,I advocate that the relationship between postgraduate education and self-education should be controlled from the outside to the inside and from the inside to the outside.This requires that the cultivation mechanism of postgraduate self-education ability be improved in postgraduate self-education so as to promote the individual to establish firm goals.Systems and action systems;In graduate education,we should improve the training mechanism of graduate students,respect and protect the basic academic interests and needs of university teachers(especially graduate supervisors)and graduate students,and strengthen the course learning process evaluation.We should provide a good external environment to enhance the self-education ability of postgraduates.
