At present,a new round of scientific and technical revolution and industrial revolution in the world drive the formation and development of the new economy.To adapt to strategic requirements of Made in China 2025 and innovation-driven development,emerging engineering education is born at the right moment.Its advent poses new challenges to higher engineering education.Besides,emerging engineering education concept presents new thought for talent cultivation.It requires us not only to inject fresh blood to specialized knowledge,but also to innovate ideology and morality based on the situation.Integration of emerging engineering education concept in the curriculum Ideological and Moral Cultivation and Basis Law Education is required by the era,which is the contents students should know and understand.It has significant in implementation of talent cultivation for emerging engineering education;promotion of higher education discipline and profession construction;industrial development needs;national prosperity and vitalization;all-round development of human being;thoughts and theories education.So the integration of emerging engineering education concept into Ideological and Moral Cultivation and Basic Law Education is an important project that needs to be resolved immediately.Based on summary of the current literature,the article clarifies the relations between emerging engineering education and outstanding engineers,traditional engineering courses,Made in China 2025 and innovation-driven development strategy.The author links and distinguishes the contents among them,and summarizes the connotation of emerging engineering education.The article presents definition for the relevant concept,and analyzes the theoretical basis for "integration".It analyzes the necessity and feasibility of "integration" from the following perspectives: teaching objectives of the course;development situation of emergingengineering education;development tendency of engineering education;personal development and educational objectives;the way of cultivating;educational contents;course features.Based on the questionnaire survey,this paper analyses the existing problems,including integration content of the surface,integration form of the simplification and the unsatisfactory integration effect.The reasons of the problems above are that there is no integration atmosphere and teachers fail to apply the concepts of new engineering in time with the problems of students' insufficient understanding and emphasis on practicability.It is necessary to find solutions from the level of school.Teachers and students form a joint force,presenting the "integration" content and exploration program of teaching methods,aimed at providing teachers with teaching ideas to produce the best results of the integration of the concept of new engineering.
