Effects Of Baseball On The Development Of Manipulative Skills Of Children Aged 6-7

The period of children aged 6-7 years old is very important.If they miss the acquisition of basic motor skills including displacement ability and manipulative skills of objects in childhood,it will have a negative impact on their future learning of complex motor skills,which cannot be compensated for in adulthood.The ability of manipulating and controlling objects also has a great influence on children's future social life and sports activities.This paper explores the effective means to promote the healthy development of children's movements and the methods to maintain the persistence of object manipulative skills.Thirty boys aged 6-7 were selected as experimental subjects to investigate the development of children's manipulative skills.Referring to the theory of human movement development and baseball training,this study used the TGMD-2 scale to test and study the overall level and development of manipulative skills;used baseball training as the main intervention means to explore the development and changes of children's manipulative skills before and after intervention;and finally came to the conclusion that the experimental group for baseball purposeful training has played a relatively promoting role in the development of manipulative skills,according with the expected conclusions and it is very effective to test children's manipulative skills.The results of the study show that there are also significant differences in the other items except for the items of playing football.Among the six manipulative skills,the growth of upper hand pitching and double hand catching is the most obvious.It can be concluded that baseball-related training for children aged 6-7 mainly includes repetitive catching movements,direct control of the ball's pitching movements and swinging skills with the bat,which have a very obvious promoting effect on manipulative skills in general and help to improve the movement structure.That is to say,it proves that baseball has a positive effect on children aged 6-7 to improve the development of manipulative skills.Compared with body displacement skills,object manipulation skills are not easy to be significantly improved in daily physical activities.In order for children to get the growth of basic movement skills in the peak period of basic movement development,it is necessary to carry out targeted physical education skills teaching in school physical education classes and outdoor sports activities.
