Chen Ping yuan was the first college students to enter the university since China resumed the college entrance examination in 1977,followed by Wu Hongcong and Wang Yao,who graduated from Southwest General Assembly that year,to study for a master's degree and a PhD.Since then,long-term at home and abroad University work,life,both engaged in university teaching,academic research has also engaged in university administration work of the Humanities scholars.It has undergone major national events such as the resumption of college entrance examination,the transformation of university education from elitist to popular,the "211 Project"opened in 1993,the "985 Project" opened in 1998,and the industrialization of education and the expansion of higher education,which opened in 1999.Its university research,which began in 1994,has been nearlv more than 20 years old and has pioneered the study of universities in the country with the narrative method of,university story".Its publication of various types of university research results of more than 20,a variety of styles,both university history and university reviews,both review articles,but also professional research.Whether from the vertical"critical moment" point of view,or from the horizontal "paradigm innovation" point of view,Chen Ping Original university research has important value and uniqueness.Chenpingyuan's university studies different from the "academic" education experts.In its view,the ideal education is not a"small education" that is specialized and can only be decided bv educators.Instead,all intellectuals must face and have the right to intervene in the "big education" and clearly point out that "friends engaged in academic history,history of thought,and literary history are potential experts in the study of education history." In the author's opinion,the research features of Chenpingyuan are distinct.On the one hand,the contemporary Chinese university education system.management,teaching,research,evaluation,and spiritual issues that have been analyzed from university stories provide us with ideological resources for reflection.He believes that "University stories" can also become the subject of university history and pedagogy research On the other hand,Chenpingyuan's related studies have been scattered,but it is necessary to carry out a comprehensive framework and combing from the perspective of pedagogy to demonstrate its basic University ideas and theoretical and practical values.Specifically,the concept of Chenpingyuan University is mainly based on the vision of university scholars and mainly humanities scholars,and is based on the,Chinese experience”of the traditional Chinese Millennium Academy and the historical practice of modern universities in China for a hundred years.Reflections on the history,evolution and status of Chinese universities and the sublimation of ideas.This paper studies Chenpingyuan's concept of university from the four dimensions of university essence,university teaching,university teachers and students,and university management to construct the ideal type and integrate the lo,logic.In the end,the author evaluates the concept of the University,and draws the relevant enlightenment to the contemporary Chinese higher education and Chinese university education through the observation of the concept of the University,as well as the concern and suggestions to the local and frontier universities.Firstly,this paper discusses the difference and relation between the modern university and the traditional Chinese ancient higher education by expounding the essence idea of Chenpingyuan University,starting from the analysis of the concept of,Chinese university".Then,from the discussion of the relationship between universities and society,between universities and people,and between universities and knowledge production,the essential characteristics and laws of universities are opened up,and the current situation and problems of Chinese contemporary higher education and university education are analyzed.Secondly,from the three dimensions of university function,University study and university classroom,this article collates the concept of university teaching in Chenpingyuar's research teaching thoughts,and reveals the status of university teaching,the connotation of university learning,and the characteristics of university classroom and its hidden culture.First of all.,Chenpingyuan reveals the position of the teaching function of the university in various functions of the University,and clearly puts forward its primary and fundamental role;Secondly,Chenpingyuan believes that university teaching is not only the transmission of knowledge but also the influence of mental energy.The university classroom is not only a natural space,but also a body,knowledge,thoughts,sounds,imagination and emotions.The spiritual field of integration.Thirdly,in view of the current situation that university teaching is too specialized,utilitarian and technical,Chenpingyuan proposed the difference between going to university" and "going to university" and pointed out that university classrooms contain rich privacy courses.The university campus also contains a rich privacy culture.It warns that university teachers and students should fully understand the meaning of university teaching and value the hidden educational resources in university teaching.Thirdly,in terms of teacher-student relations,the article first collates and analyzes the multiple identities of university teachers and the characteristics,status,and learning problems of university students studied by Chenpingyuan University,and breaks through the traditional understanding to point out that university teachers and students are not only knowledge transfer relations.There is also the influence of spiritual spirit and the silent relationship of moral personality.The ideal teacher-student relationship has multiple connotations,that is,learning:mutual observation and mutual appreciation;Emotionally:mutual support and equality;Personality:Shi Yandao respect,from the tour edification.Only by strictly demanding themselves,correctly understanding the characteristics and status of university students,and rationally understanding the multiple connotations of university teacher-student relations,can university teachers change the current cold and suffocating teacher-student relationship status quo,thus constructing an ideal teacher-student relationship;Again and again,in the aspect of university management,the article first points out the current situation and problems of the macro level and micro level of university management.Then put forward the corresponding strategy.Chenpingyuan believes that on the macro level.government management universities should "grasp small magnification" and maintain distance,while on the micro level,universities can not relv solely on tradition and creatively put forward the dual meaning of academic freedom.That is:positive freedom and negative freedom.In response to the problems in the evaluation of university titles and scientific research evaluations,Chenpingyuan believes that it is mainly due to the administrative evaluation of education,the evaluation of institutional machinery,and the neglect of subject culture.Therefore,it is necessary to adhere to academic standards,introduce subject culture,and improve evaluation mechanisms.Finally,it is the evaluation and enlightenment of Chenpingyuan's concept and its value to local and frontier universities.Based on this,the author also extracts relevant suggestions.This article "Chenpingyuan"believes that Chenpingyuan's concept has made great breakthroughs in the research paradigm of higher education.the research subject of university ideas,and the research strategy and research content of universities.On the research paradigm,it changed the traditional concept that pedagogy,including higher education,is regarded as social science in the past higher education research,and the higher education research rarely sees the humanities scholars,thus making up the short plate of humanistic literature that is ideal for multidisciplinary research in higher education;On the subject of research,we have changed the discourse monopoly power of past educational administrative officials and university presidents in the Chinese academic circles and changed their situation.Scholars,especially humanities scholars,often differ from education officials and university presidents due to differences in experience,experience,and location.But each has its own vision and each has its own value.From this we can also see the voice of scholars;In terms of research content,Chenpingyuan's ideas and ideals and feasibility,especially his ideas that university development should respect tradition,pay attention to spirit,demonstrate individuality,innovate system,and call for balance,have great inspiration for contemporary Chinese higher education.It also has positive value for local and frontier universities.
