| The Mathematics Curriculum Standard for compulsory Education(2011 Edition)puts forward the following: In order to master mathematics knowledge,students should not rely on memorization,but on the basis of understanding,should continue to consolidate and deepen in the application of knowledge.In the middle school stage,mathematical formula runs through the whole process of inquiry and learning,and is an important part of junior high school knowledge.In this study,565 students in the second year of junior high school in Tianshui City were selected as the object of study.The data information of students’ ability to understand and apply mathematical formulas was obtained by means of literature,interview and questionnaire survey.According to the study,First: students do not have a good understanding of the essence of the formula,understanding ability needs to be improved.92% of the students could write the formula exactly,and only 49% to 59% of the students could deduce the formula.The representation of the formula is ideal,but many students prefer to use symbolic representation instead of literal representation and graphic representation.Second,the students’ application to the simple foundation of the formula is still ideal,but there are still great problems in the application of the formula which is complex and high.The phenomenon of negative transfer of the formula is very common,and students’ mastery of the formula stays at the instrumental level when it is applied to the restriction condition of the formula,such as carelessness or misapplication of the restriction condition of the formula.The negative transfer phenomenon of the formula is very common in the students’ grasp of the formula.The ability of students to apply formula in positive direction is obviously stronger than that in reverse application,and there is also difference in the two-way application of different formulas in terms of the level of use,especially in the chapter of multiplication and division of integral formula.In view of the current situation of the students’ understanding and application of the formula in the second year of junior high school,the following teaching strategiesare put forward based on the relevant conclusions: attach importance to the derivation process of the formula,and let the students know the formula correctly;We should strengthen the consciousness of expressing the formula in many ways,let the students form a good problem-solving habit,pay attention to the transfer of thinking,improve the transfer ability of the students,cultivate the reverse-thinking ability and improve the problem-solving skills. |
