Understanding the problem is the premise of solving the problem,and the mathematical problem is composed of the mathematical language.Therefore,from the perspective of solving the problem,the solution of the mathematical problem also depends on the degree of understanding of the mathematical language.In recent years,there have been some "novel"questions in the mathematics questions of the college entrance examination.These "novel"questions often contain a large number of words,symbols and graphic languages.These are the basic elements that constitute the mathematical language.Used to examine students'mathematical language comprehension ability.Therefore,the understanding of mathematics language,especially the understanding and research of mathematics language comprehension,deserves the attention and attention of mathematics educators and mathematics education researchers.This paper first uses the literature research method to sort out the basic concepts and characteristics of mathematics language,mathematics language ability and mathematics language comprehension ability,analyze the level of mathematics language comprehension ability,and give an evaluation framework of mathematics language comprehension ability.Secondly,use the test survey to understand the current situation of high school students'mathematics language comprehension ability.It is found that high school students' overall mathematics language comprehension ability is good,and students of arts and sciences classes and different genders have little difference in mathematics language comprehension ability.But there are also some students whose mathematics language comprehension ability is relatively weak,and in different high school mathematics content modules,students have a certain difference in mathematics language comprehension abilities,in which students are in the pre-knowledge and probability statistics content modules The mathematics language comprehension is better than the function and geometry and algebra content modules.Third,the use of interviews combined with the results of test surveys to analyze the problems and causes of students' mathematical language understanding.The existing problems are mainly reflected in the understanding of mathematical concepts,the analysis of mathematical sentences and the extraction of effective information in mathematical situations.Furthermore,the causes of the problems are analyzed from the three levels of mathematics language itself,students and teachers.Finally,the training of high school students' mathematical language understanding is given from four aspects:strengthening the analysis of the meaning of words and sentences in mathematical concepts,understanding the conversion between different forms of mathematical language,appropriately introducing the introduction of mathematical background knowledge,and encouraging students to communicate in mathematical language Ability recommendations.
