Although the middle school mathematics curriculum is constantly reforming in our country,the status of the function concept has not been changed.The function concept has always been an important basic concept,especially it is a deep and difficult to master core concept in senior high school mathematics.With the implementation of the new curriculum,the problem of consistency between junior and senior schools has become more and more concerned by senior high school mathematics teachers.Although the textbook adopts the staged arrangement of the function concept and the spiraling of the two stages of junior and senior schools,students' mastery of the function concept is still not ideal.This study compares and analyzes the textbooks,teaching methods,learning methods of the functional concept and the age characteristics and psychological development characteristics of students in the two stages of the junior and senior schools by consulting the literature and field trips.The questionnaire survey is conducted among grade three students in two junior middle schools in Tianshui City and senior high school students in Baoji City,and then senior one teachers in two senior high schools teachers in Baoji City are interviewed.The purpose of the survey is to understand the students' understanding of the function concept at different stages and the current situation of the consistency between junior and senior schools.Finally,the author analyzes and summarizes the reasons for the poor consistency between junior and senior schools teaching,and find out the corresponding countermeasures.The survey results show that senior high school freshmen can't change their learning methods and study habits in junior middle school in time.It is difficult for senior high school freshmen to accept the senior high school abstract mathematics knowledge.When teachers explain the function concept,there is a general phenomenon of poor consistency between junior and senior schools.Combined the problems above,in order to make the function concept teaching of consistency between junior and senior schools smoothly,the author gives the corresponding teaching strategies are listed as follows:(1)Enriching the background of function concept.(2)Paying attention to the abstract process of the essential attribute of function concept.(3)Improving the quality of teaching with modern information technology.(4)Improving the understanding of function concept through the teaching of positive and negative examples.(5)Applying the function concept to actual life.(6)Integrating into the teaching of mathematics history and pay attention to the cultural value of mathematics.According to the corresponding teaching strategies,combining the function concept in senior high schools and junior middle schools naturally.Through the consistency teaching,students can develop the ability of finding problems and solving problems,and enhance students' mathematical abstraction and intuitive imagination,and let students deeply understand the essence of function concept.Finally,combined with the teaching strategies given,the author designs the corresponding teaching cases,hoping to provide effective teaching methods to teachers to solve the problem of poor consistency in the function concept teaching in senior high school,and help students to complete the smooth transition of mathematics learning in junior and senior schools.
