From the end of the last century,every nation and some international organizations in the world all did researches on how to make people in their regions to better adapt to the new life in the future,thus came the core competencies.But its implementation needed the teaching in the classroom,so since the release of the new curriculum standard in 2017,the reform of our basic education entered the age of the core competencies.Since 2017 ShanDong province has begun to put the reform of new curriculum into practice,however,the teaching situation has been still using the old materials under the new curriculum standard.In the the first year of physics teaching for the senior high school students,an important subject of the teaching research is how to improve the students' physics core competencies,besides the new students in 2019 autumn are the first to use the new materials based on the new curriculum standard,so the research about the teaching based on the new core competencies for the new students in 2019 has the practical significance.The paper has six parts:The first part is the introduction.It includes the background and meaning of the research,the present research situation of the core competencies,and its ideas and content.The second part is the theoretical expounding of the physics core competencies.It tells the theoretical basis of this research and the definition for the core competencies and physics core competencies.The third part is the research on the present situation of the physics core competencies for the first year high school students under the new curriculum standard.According to the academic quality requirements and the implementation recommendations of the high school physics curriculum standard,a test was written and measured in terms of reliability and validity;by the test aimed at the new students in 2019,a primary conclusion was drawn on the present level of the physics core competencies.The fourth part is about the teaching practice based on the core competencies in the physics class for the freshmen of senior high school.Under the guidance of new curriculum standard,teachers have used the 2019 new materials to put the core competencies into teaching practice,made records of education and teaching for one semester,including teachers' teaching research,classroom teaching strategies,instructional design,ect.and made discoveries of instructional pattern called “four aspects of active interactions and improvement of core competencies” based on core competenciesThe fifth part is the analysis of the first year physics teaching practice.In the end of the semester,a test made during the students,the paper would analyse the improvement of the core competencies' level compared to its beginning,including the comparison between sexes,classes,and teachers,and the usage of the test.According to the questionnaire,students' attitude and responsibility are drawn.The sixth part is the summary and outlook.By the research,some conclusions are drawn: it's of great significance to improve the students' core competencies by stressing them in the teaching practice;some factors like sexes,teaching atmosphere,teachers have an obvious impact on the improvement of core competencies.The innovation of this paper lies in the empirical study based on the physics core competencies and new curriculum standard,that is the research on the improvement of physics core competencies of the 1st year senior high school students using the new materials.
