WeChat communication between home and school is an information exchange and behavioral interaction between teachers and parents of home educators.The aim is to form a joint education force for the educated students,and finally to make the cooperation between teachers and parents coordinated and consistent,to form a family-school relationship that is mutually compatible and common,and to provide positive and effective educational influence for students.This study divides WeChat communication between home and school in primary school into six aspects: the sending way of communication information,the receiving of communication information,the feedback of communication information,the sympathy of both sides of communication,the evaluation of communication information,and the educational effect of communication information.The purpose of this study is to investigate the current situation of parents and teachers using WeChat to communicate in primary schools.By analyzing the existing problems and causes of WeChat communication in schools,the author puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to improve the communication level of WeChat in homes and schools.This study uses two methods of investigation: questionnaire and interview.In the questionnaire survey method,the author designed two questionnaires for parents and teachers,both of which selected parents of students from grade 1 to grade 6 of five primary schools and their teachers as research subjects.A total of 450 questionnaires were distributed to parents and 425 valid questionnaires were recovered,with a recovery efficiency of 94.6%.253 questionnaires were distributed to teachers,and 250 valid questionnaires were recovered,with an effective rate of 98.8%.In the interview survey method,the author interviewed 6 head teachers,5 parents and 8 pupils.This study found the following differences among different types of parents' WeChat communication at home and school: First,the WeChat communication level of hot primary school parents' home and school is higher than that of ordinary primary school parents.Second,the level of WeChat communication between non-migrant parents' home and school is higher than that of migrant parents.Third,father's evaluation of WeChat communication between home and school is lower than mother's.Fourth,the evaluation level of WeChat communication between home and school by parents who have no teachers is lower than that of parents who have teachers.Fifth,parents in grades 1-2 have lower perception of WeChat use in home-school communication than parents in middle and senior grades.The following problems exist in teachers' WeChat communication at home and school: First,teachers' authoritarianism is prominent.Second,teachers' fairness in WeChat communication needs to be improved.Third,the level of WeChat communication between home and school for low-age teachers needs to be improved.Fourth,teachers with low daily communication frequency need to improve their WeChat communication level at home and school.Fifth,teachers in rural schools need to improve their WeChat communication level at home and school.This study found that the common problems in WeChat communication between home and school are: First,there are cognitive differences between parents and teachers in WeChat communication.Second,parents and teachers use WeChat to closely monitor students,which leads to a lack of student orientation.Third,teachers and parents pass on their responsibilities in WeChat communication at home and school.This research mainly puts forward the construction strategy of improving primary school WeChat communication from the perspective of school education.First,teachers should listen to parents' demands,improve their empathy for parents,and be good at home-school WeChat communication from the perspective of parents.Second,teachers should be good at improving their home-school outlook and communication methods in home-school WeChat communication,and use appropriate language strategies to establish an equal communication status with parents.Third,teachers should highlight the dominant position of students in WeChat communication between home and school and should not use WeChat to control students.Fourth,the two sides of the family and the school communicate on WeChat on the premise of defining the responsibility limits of the family and the school.Fifth,teachers actively establish trust relationship with parents in WeChat communication between home and school.Sixth,teachers encourage fathers to pay attention to their children's growth and help them improve their ability to communicate on WeChat at home and school.Seventh,teachers should treat parents fairly and fairly in WeChat communication between home and school.Eighth,teachers actively help grade 1-2 students and their parents adapt to primary school life and realize the integration and co-education of WeChat communication between home and school.Ninth,new teachers should learn from old teachers to improve their WeChat communication ability at home and school.Tenth,rural and ordinary primary school teachers should rely on internal driving force to achieve professional development and improve their WeChat communication level at home and school.
