Population aging is a worldwide development trend,the aging problem is gradually highlighted,and become a global problem should not be underestimated.As a large population country in the world,China's aging population is becoming more and more serious,which to a certain extent hinders the pace of economic development and modernization construction in China.Under the guidance of the trend of thought of lifelong education,China has issued a series of documents to ensure the development of education for the elderly,and to integrate the education of the elderly into the overall strategic plan of education.Because of the rapid increase of population,distance education provides a new idea for the development of old-age education.Since the new century,the distance education for the elderly in our country has been paid more and more attention by the state.The development plan(2016-2020)and the report of the19 th CPC National Congress both explicitly put forward the use of information technology to serve the elderly education.In spite of the vigorous development of the distance education for the elderly in the new period,it is found that there are still many problems in the distance education for the aged.Based on the theory of lifelong education,the theory of lifelong learning and the theory of self-regulated learning,this paper probes into the problems in the development of distance education for the elderly in Chongqing and analyzes the reasons for its emergence,taking the current situation of the development of distance education for the elderly in Chongqing as the background.Based on this,some reasonable suggestions are put forward.By combing the current situation of the research on the elderly education at home and abroad,the author establishes that the research methods of this paper are mainly questionnaire survey,interview method and auxiliary literature method.First of all,the author conducted a questionnaire survey on some elderly students and teachers in Chongqing to understand the students' personal basic situation,distance learning conditions,distance learning satisfaction,and so on.And the teacher's personalbasic situation,the distance specialization development situation,the distance teaching examination situation and the teaching satisfaction and so on;Then follow-up visits to some school leaders,individual teachers and students in Chongqing,in order to get an in-depth understanding of the implementation of the policy of remote education for the elderly,and the situation of financial protection.The situation of the management system and the cognition and study of the teachers' distance education for the elderly and so on;Secondly,through the analysis and arrangement of the questionnaire,the author finds that there is an imbalance in the regional development of distance education for the elderly in Chongqing at present,there is a lack of funds for distance education,the strength of teachers for distance education is not strong enough,and distance education is a long-distance education.The curriculum resources are not perfect,the resources of the distance learning platform are not rich enough,and the enthusiasm of the elderly students for distance learning is not very high,and so on.Based on this,the causes of the problems are analyzed: the implementation of policies and laws is not detailed enough.The management system is short of the times,the reform system is insufficient,the standard of inhomogeneous investment is not clear enough,and the channels are lack of diversification,etc.Finally,according to the related problems,the author puts forward to carry out the policies and regulations of the distance education for the elderly,implement the financial guarantee system of the distance education for the aged,and strengthen the construction of the teachers of the distance education for the aged.Perfecting the teaching resources of the long-distance education course for the elderly;Actively promote distance Education for the elderly Xi's platform construction and other relevant reasonable suggestions,and hope to promote China's long-distance education for the elderly to continue to flourish.
