Self-regulated Learning In Web-based Environment

Internet's coming has changed not only people's producing styles and living styles but also their thinking style and learning style, which makes school education more web-based, more virtual, more personal and more international.The appearance of Internet has brought about great changes which will be more obvious with the development of era. Faced with such great changes, traditional education can't meet the demands of society or the development of students. Training students' ability of self-regulated learning in web-based environment can make students progress without stop. At the same time students' development obliged school to offer them suitable climate and space. By studying students' self-regulated learning in web-based environment this article focuses on acquiring the rule that education serves students' development, society's civilization, man and nature living together harmoniously.The author thinks that some systematic changes must take place in order to meet the needs of boom of the Internet and the teachers must have a clear idea of the features of the InternetFrom the point of view of the theory ,the inquiry of the education's quality made some preparations for the structure of the education. The theory and practice of the self-regulated learning has made it a base to inquire into the self-regulated learning in web-based climate.To our joy, these theories have partly come true in our daily teaching.From the point of view of the practice, to get rid of the influence of the out-dated teaching, ideas and customs, we must fight against the old ideas and customs and overcome the pain caused by theory's applying in practice.This article tries to answer these questions as follows. First of all, the author gets a clear idea of the theory. We must have a clear picture of the birth of self-regulated learning and practice in the schools. This is the starting point of solving the problems. At the same time, the author talks about the concrete teaching, curriculum and new challenges faced by the teachers. Above all, the author made an inquiry into the school's management and the birth of new school culture.This is a new field to study the self regulated learning in web-based climate. It needs practice and conclusion. Furthermore, this inquiry can't be a success at once. This article aims at causing great concern in this field.
