Study On University Teachers' Professionalism And Their Ways Of Formation

University teachers are the key figures in higher education.The development of university teachers is related to the prospect of higher education in China.Excellent university teachers are the basic symbol of first-class universities,and they play a leading role in the professional growth of university teachers.Therefore,it is necessary to study excellent university teachers.In order to promote the connotative development of university teachers and to guide the professional growth of university teachers,this paper focuses on the professional quality of excellent university teachers and the ways to generate them.In order to present the characteristics of excellent university teachers more truly and vividly,this study is based on the theory of teachers' professional growth,mass communication and academic career.It adopts content analysis,literature research and case study methods.It mainly adopts content analysis to study the famous university teachers.The contents of 58 famous teachers' articles recorded in the three books of "Academic Famous Teachers Award Winner" and "Famous Teachers Award Winner: Recording the Third Famous Teachers Award Winner" and "Famous Teachers Award Winner: Recording the Fourth Famous Teachers Award Winner" and six reports on famous teachers in universities reported in China Education Daily,Guangming Daily and People's Daily were analyzed from the perspectives of gender,teaching age,discipline,entry degree,final degree and overseas experience.This paper analyses the personal background characteristics of excellent university teachers in our country from the perspectives of existence,academic achievements,types of working schools and geographical distribution of schools.On the basis of empirical analysis,it extracts the key materials which can reflect the professional accomplishment of excellent university teachers and the ways of their generation,and then carries out keywords coding.Then it makes a specific classification and analysis of keywords,so as to show the university in specific situations.Excellent teachers' professional qualities and their generating ways.The research finds that,firstly,the professional accomplishment of excellent university teachers is embodied in three aspects: professional knowledge,professional knowledge and professional ability,and professional knowledge is embodied in educational concept,professional understanding and professional attitude;professional knowledge is embodied in profound subject knowledge,educational theory knowledge and profound cultural knowledge;professional ability is embodied in teaching ability.Scientific research ability and innovation ability.Secondly,the way to form professional literacy of excellent teachers in universities are mainly embodied in personal efforts and external support.Among them,individual efforts are mainly embodied in five aspects: excellent university teachers' courage to innovate,hard study,emphasis on scientific research,perseverance and good summary;external support is mainly embodied in three aspects: government support,team assistance and mentor guidance.Thirdly,we can provide enlightenment for the professional growth of university teachers from three levels: government,teachers themselves and schools.On the one hand,the government pays attention to the balance of selection,long-term support for teachers' development and the promotion of teachers' development by the education department;on the other hand,teachers themselves pay attention to strengthening their professional accomplishment,strengthening their team consciousness and enhancing their academic attainments;on the other hand,in schools,"old teachers" guide young teachers' development,encourage teachers' positive development and create a team atmosphere for teachers.
