Research On SPOC Teaching Platform Based On Mobile Environment

With the growing popularity of internet,MOOC has been developed rapidly.However,along with its rapid development,abuses of high registration rate and low completion rate have been exposed as well.To solve these problems,some foreign colleges and universities start research the small but refined teaching way SPOC,which is a small personal online course.As the univeral using of smartphones make the learners learning style various,tools of learners are no longer limited to computer but transfer to moblie terminal.Thus SPOC has become a teaching method which is totally new.However,most of the SPOC teaching platforms exsist problems,such as single motivation mode,underdeveloped systems of motivation and assessment.All of those problems directly influenced learners interests and motivation,and then lead to negative side like lonely learning atmosphere and general time plan.Aim to solve these problems,the research contents are mainly include:Firstly,it's going to discuss research background and significance of SPOC teaching platform,study status quo of SPOC and mobile learning,analyze characteristics of learners and courses of “University Computer Foundation”.In addition,it will find out the necessities of developing the platform,analyze the feasibility of the combination of related theories with platform design and present a motivation mode of mobile terminal SPOC teaching platform.Next,in order to reduce cognitive load of learners,it will refine knowlegde points and ensure their intergrity and coherence based on specific function modules of SPOC teaching platform which is designed by the motivation mode and led by the cognitive load theory.Finally,according to the outcomes of the design to develop and test the teaching platform of SPOC.Besides,the practical use effect would be vertified through questionares and interviews.This thesis will provide research ideas for application of motivation theory in the develpoment of mobile terminal teaching platforms under the leading of motivation theory to design and develop the mobile terminal SPOC teaching platform.It will also offer references for the future related teaching patforms development.The mobile terminal SPOC teaching platform can better help college students enhance their learning awareness,sitimulate their learning motivation and improve their learning interests.To some extent,it also has practical meanings in promoting teaching efficiencies of “University Computer Foundation”.
