Writing teaching has always been one of the important components of Chinese language teaching.It embodies the accumulation of language knowledge in the study of Chinese knowledge,and it can truly reflect the core literacy of a student's language.However,writing teaching is also the most difficult part of Chinese teaching.Although the basic education curriculum reform in our country has been continuously implemented and fruitful,there are still some problems in the writing teaching field that need to be solved urgently.During the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China,China experienced unprecedented major changes in Chinese education.Languages are no longer attached to other disciplines,and they are independently established.The writing teaching as an important part of Chinese teaching has also changed.The main purpose of writing begins with "The gradual transition to "practical",and there have been many excellent writing teaching ideas and methods,students' writing interest and writing ability is very high,which has become the beginning of modern Chinese writing teaching.This thesis uses the historical research method and the literature analysis method to systematically study the writing teaching and its modern significance in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China.In terms of historical analysis,this paper draws on Chen Yinque's historical textual research method of "history of poetry and history" and Xu Fuguan's "thinking evidence method" and "document clue evidence method",citing the autobiography and memoirs of literary masters and cultural people in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China.Supporting materials,summarizing and discussing the development context and characteristics of writing teaching in this period;then using literature analysis method,based on a large number of reading and reference historical documents,first analyze the development background of writing teaching in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China,including The promulgation and implementation of the new academic system,the independence of the Chinese language discipline,the vernacular movement and the literary revolution,the influence of Dewey's pragmatic ideas and humanistic ideas,and the high-quality teaching staff;later summarized the teaching guidance of writingin the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China.The transformation of thoughts: from the cultivation of "Confucianism" to the cultivation of "new people",from the content of the test to the content of life,from the literary to the public.The main characteristics of writing teaching in this period are: in the accumulation of materials,writing teaching is based on reading teaching,and at the same time strengthen the accumulation of students' reading materials and living materials;in writing training,pay attention to diversified teaching methods for different styles.Writing training;in the evaluation of composition,focus on highlighting the dominant position of students,changing from self to the main,while emphasizing the leading role of teachers.At the end of the thesis,the paper focuses on the practical problems in contemporary writing teaching,such as the single training of Chinese teaching in writing teaching,the neglect of essay evaluation by teachers,and the lack of subjective consciousness of students.From strengthening reading-based stylistic training,advocating teachers to take the lead and training students The three aspects of practice writing in life illustrate the modern enlightenment of writing teaching in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China,in anticipation of learning from the modern writing teaching reform.
